Very good burger - Edit
Their house-made vegan burger is amazing. We wish we had tried another of the veggie burgers as well. Have to take a star off for a gluten-free "bread" and spread dish which was disappointing and not filling.

Great Vegan German Dishes! - Edit
This lovely restaurant, in a very nice location just off the main street of the old town, has some great vegan takes on dishes like Käsespätzle. Their desserts, like the apple crumble, are also excellent, and the staff is very nice. I hope to get a chance to come back when I next make a trip to Augsburg, and it would definitely be a more regular stop if I lived there! There are many nice breakfast options too.

Im Emmi‘s Kitchen gibt es von Riesenpancake Portionen bis zu diversen Burger findet man alles. Kuchen, Salate uvm. Frühstück, Mittag, Abendessen alles rein vegan und mega lecker. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit.

My new favourite restaurant - Edit
I’ve eaten there twice (so far) and love it. Their menu has a nice selection of unconventional burgers (e.g. Obazda Blaukraut) and other dishes and their breakfast looks pretty neat, so I’ll definitely be back to try that. There’s also an extra dish of the week.
Read moreThey’ve got a selection of desserts, too. So far, I’ve had the mousse au chocolat and cheesecake, which were both nice. Not the best I’ve ever had, but pretty solid and I would have dessert again.
Prices are standard and reasonable for the kind of establishment and quality, staff is extremely nice. The location beautiful, both inside the restaurant and especially outside as it’s located in a quiet street in the old town. 10/10 would recommend.

Mac N Cheese - Edit
I had Mac N Cheese which was the dish of the week. The sauce was delicious! Reminded me of the Miracoli cheese sauce I used to love. The chocolate cake was a bit dry and too sweet though.

Emmi’s kitchen is located in a very cute and calm oldtown street in Augsburg.

We ordered pancakes from the breakfast menu (available till 4 pm!) and green cheese spätzle (pretty much the german-bavarian-swabian version of mac n cheese) with side salad.
Both of the dishes were very enjoyable, side salad I needed to add some salt and pepper too, otherwhiles a little boring in taste.
The waitress was a little to professional-friendly for my taste, not very warm, but alright.
I also had a nice cinnamon bun to go.
Recommend!

Lovely place. Cozy interieur. Located at super cozy old-timy, low traffic cobblestone street. The entire menu is vegan. Food was delicious and the staff was very friendly!
