Many great vegan options and multiple locations

I’ve visited all three of Jacksonville’s European Street Cafe locations and have been impressed every time! All three locations have a nice atmosphere and several vegan options that are clearly marked on the menu. I love that they have an entire “Veggie Lovers Meatless Entrees” section on the menu. I had the New Day Salad at this location and it was excellent! My friend and I split the cashew cheese and crackers appetizer and a slice of chocolate pie for dessert. The pie was absolutely incredible! I’ll definitely be back!

Pros: Several vegan options clearly marked on menu, Nice atmosphere , Multiple Jacksonville locations

Great service, but the vegan options are so-so

Vegan options are marked with "Shakti" and "Vegan". My understanding is that "Shakti" means gluten free as well, so the dishes I had were made of wheat substitutes. Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable which makes finding the vegan options easy. At the time of writing, there was only one vegan option behind the dessert counter, but that will likely change seasonally.

There are a few vegan options on the menu, but most of what I tried wasn't too amazing. The cheeze and crackers appetizer is not bad. Athena's gift had an okay vegan sausage substitute, but it was hard to eat since it was served between two of the same kind of crackers that came with the cheeze and crackers but dripping with oil and hard to manage. On the other hand, the mocha pie was delicious and I would definitely eat that again.

I might eat there again, but I might not. I think it would benefit them to expand their vegan menu and separate the gluten free dishes from the vegan dishes to make things more flexible when they're adding vegan options.
