Lovely restaurant with many vegan options. Photos of the vegan options are posted here. Delicious coffee! I only gave it 3 stars because the toast with beet root hummus had only small bits of smoked tofu. I expected several slices. One of the few places with vegan breakfast options in Chiado.

I returned another day and had the “vegan nest”, fun idea but not much food.
All of the above was ok.
The restaurant is filled with green plants which makes it really cozy.
I would recommend a visIt.

The Farmer Bowl at Fauna & Flora was bland, lacking flavor variety. Even the forest toast, though okay, leaned towards dryness, further the juice of the day tasted like store-bought mango juice with mixed in frozen berries. Regrettably, the overall impression was dissatisfying

Great vegan pancakes! - Edit
I got the one of the pancake option and just switched the non-vegan chocolate to some fresh berries. Super satisfying with the peanut butter and the caramellized peanuts.

The soup was good, but the vegan toast was a bit bland. It was supposed to have smoked tofu, but it was just cubed uncooked regular tofu. The hummus as the base didn’t tasted much either.

Delicious Vegan Toast - Edit
I visited this restaurant for breakfast, and I tried the vegan pancakes along with the vegan toast they had on the menu (I don’t remember what it was called). The pancakes were a bit disappointing; they had a strange bitter aftertaste, but the maple syrup was delicious. The toast turned out to be much bigger and more filling than I anticipated. It came with pink hummus, tofu, arugula and a few other things but it was very well seasoned and the flavor combinations were perfect! I would 10/10 recommend the toast. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for their vegan pancakes.

I went with my family for lunch on a Sunday - 2 adults and 1 child. Although there was a cue list, everything was very well organized and only took us 25m to seat. The place is very beautiful, well decorated, but a bit noisy to my taste.
Read moreAbout Food (that's what really matters): Starters - we went for raw veggies with dips (houmous, baba ganoush and guacamole) - All dips were good.
As Mains, we ordered a Farmer Bowl + Vegan Nest. Farmer Bowl - The black rice had no taste. It seemed like "just boiled in hot water". All the others veggies were on the same page as the rice, except the braised onion (you can't fail with an onion!!!). Vegan Nest - It was ok with the spinach and the tomato sauce, although the raw/crunchy noodles option is questionable. To finish, we ordered vegan pancakes and they were the worst pancakes ever. Period! I was lost between the "spicy" feeling of bicarbonate and the chewyness of the whole mixture.....
About Drinks: Iced Tea without taste. Fruits juice and lemonade were ok.
About Staff: The persons who manages the tables was a star, but I can't say the same about the waiter who doesn't know if the food is vegan or not, and when asked puts "the arrogant mask" of "you're really annoying making all these questions".
As a side note: I believe that if the food is in the menu it has to taste great. This is what didn't happen. Maybe all the meat/fish options are great, but don't create a vegan menu to please all when you don't have the skills for it.

Read moreI've been there a couple of times and all I could eat was some beetroot hummus with bread, and that's it. I don't consider the smoothies something special either.
In terms of the place itself - yes, the interior is great, but it's usually crowded, with the staff being busy and chaotic. You have to wait a lot to get served, and they sometimes make mistakes with your orders.

Beautiful breakfast/brunch restaurant🌿 - Edit
Flora&Fauna surprised me a lot-there are lots of vegan choices and the prices are very good, I had an avocado toast (4€) and a smoothie (3€) which were both very satisfying. I'd recommend this place for anyone!
