Original hungarian flavour - Edit
We got there 10min before closing, so they had way less options than during the day. But we were lucky and there were still a few things left.
Read moreWe had the mushroom ravioli, red cabbage and walnut pogacsa and the plum dumpling. All of them were really good and tasty, real hungarian flavor.
Afordable prices and nice staff.

So many choices, great price - Edit
We picked up the brown sugar croissant, chocolate peanut croissant, cinnamon swirl and a savoury pumpkin thing. They were all so tasty and a nice flakey texture. All for very reasonable price! Lots of options and you can see they bake it all fresh behind the store front. Highly recommend!

Loved the pogacsa, wide range of products - Edit
I absolutely loved the smoky pogasca! There is a wide range of sweet and salty Hungarian products. All were very good and the different doughs are well mastered.

Lots of options but a bit lackluster - Edit
Was so excited to try pastries from this vegan bakery because they have SO many options but was disappointed with the quality. The savory scone-like pastries were a good texture and a cute size but a bit dry and lacking flavor. The sweeter pastries were tastier. I tried the chocolate peanut croissant (good!), chocolate marzipan pastry (very sweet), and a regular croissant (so-so).

I missed 'kakaós csiga' so much since I became vegan, so now I'm so happy that I found this vegan bakery. Their baked goods are fresh and tasty, I would recommend it for everyone.

My top 3: Spring roll, mushroom ravioli, plum dumpling. We taste tested almost half the display and EVERYTHING was just amazing. And reasonable priced in my opinion. Side note: I went on a Monday morning and probably held up people behind me who were rushing to work 😅 so maybe have a list ready for ordering 😁

All-vegan deliciousness - Edit
Great variety of sweet and savoury. Ingredients are listed for all items. They deliberately do not use the word vegan anywhere to avoid scaring off non-vegans. I had the cinnamon snail and the wholewheat sugar croissant and they were both lovely.

Lovely all-vegan pastry shop - Edit
Vegan pastries aren't very common in shops in Budapest, so this place really fills a gap! I have tried several types of their pastries in the past few years, and I have never been disappointed by either the texture or the taste. I usually only get to visit in the evening hours, shortly before they close, but the pastries aren't dry or crumbly by this time either - in fact, they still taste and feel nice the morning after, as breakfast. My favourites are the several flavours of pogácsa - their texture is especially lovely!
Read moreI only wish there were more places like this in the city, or that their products were also available elsewhere - oh, and that the opening hours also included the weekend.
Pros: nice selection, tasty pastries
Cons: not open during weekends
