The cakes were a little dry but tasty. The lady at the stand wasn't very nice at the beginning, but then she signed to us that it is very hot, so it is understandable. Overall, for 600 huf you get a pretty good experience.

i was so so happy to find this stand! i was studying abroad and my friend and i went to visit my grandma in budapest and i was showing her around the local spots and recommending hungarian food and childhood favorites. we got her a chimney cake when we were at the vörösmarty christmas market, and i'm so glad we stumbled across this place, so i could have one too! super good and so many memories!

love this place so much! i was told all of their chimney cakes are vegan. it’s the cheapest chimney cake i managed to find in budapest (2 € / 500 forints). you can’t pay by card, they accept euros but not cents and apparently no banknotes as well so i’m guessing the safest option is to pay with one 2 € coin or two 1 € coins. i tried the cinnamon chimney cake and vanilla chimney cake, but they also offer walnut, poppy seed, cocoa, coconut and many more
