They always have amazing flavors and the store is very nice. I tried a frappe here recently and it was excellent. We took some pints to go and a thing of the hot fudge - really great coconut based hot fudge that hardens/goops up on the ice cream in the best way. They deliver too for your last second ice cream cake needs.

Overall, I like FoMu more than any of the ice cream places I've tried on the West Coast. I'll be dreaming about this place after I leave Boston. It was so creamy... I had to check a few times that this place was fully vegan.
Read moreThe Rooibos & Oat flavor was incredible, it's an herbal tea based ice cream with house made Oat crumble. The Oat added the perfect amount of texture and sweetness.
The Earl Grey Shortbread flavor was also very exciting. I loved the shortbread! I'm really loving their chunks of stuff here.
What also sets FoMu apart is that they sell cakes, cookie dough, frappes, gluten free brownies, pints, various cookie flavors, ice cream sandwiches, and so much more.

This was the first time I had vegan ice cream from an ice cream parlor, and it was great! Everything was vegan and there were so many different and unique options to choose from. They so sold some baked goods and tubs of ice cream to go. I wi definitely be back to try more flavours😄

I wandered in here and picked the most boring but at the moment desired by me flavor, strawberry. I got it in a cone thinking I’ll walk and lick but ended up sitting in one of the cozy chairs by the window and read a book on my kindle. I also bought some jarred hot fudge sauce to take home. One scoop was quite a nice sized portion and took me 15 minutes to steadily eat.

Started eating at FoMu even before going vegan! Taste better than non-vegan ice cream! I love the grasshopper pie ice cream sammie! Everything is so amazing even for the dairy eaters. Love all of their products. I’ve come here so many times, and I’m never disappointed! Whether you choose one of their classic options (chocolate pudding is one of my favorites) or a seasonal flavor (chocolate peppermint cookie is out of this world), you can’t go wrong! I find that a lot of vegan ice creams are a bit icy and not super “creamy,” but FoMu nails that “creamy” texture. Their brownie sundaes are also phenomenal (mostly because of their hot fudge). Even my non-vegan friends love FoMu! They also have pints to take home, but they are pretty pricey - I do appreciate being able to buy a special ice cream for a holiday or my birthday, though.

I loved my apple cider donut ice cream and I like that they had compostable containers instead of the wasteful single-use plastic cups and spoons. However, I think the price for the ice cream was very steep so be prepared to spend a lot of money if you come here.

Never been to a full vegan ice cream place and it was incredible. Service was great, workers were very helpful, and I got possibly the best ice cream brownie sundae I’ve ever had in my life... AND no animals had to suffer!?!? That’s my kind of ice cream. I can’t wait to go back to FOMU!!!

We were so excited to visit Fomu. My boyfriend got the chocolate mint ice cream and cotton candy. Both were pretty good. The cotton candy was very subtle. I ordered the lemon meringue and chocolate cookie dough. The lemon meringue was great tasting but the scoop was a lot smaller and the woman ringing me out even thought I had ordered a smaller size, which was fine. It melted quickly but was sooo good. My issue was when I got to the cookie dough, there was no cookie dough in it. I asked someone behind the counter and she told me that basically that happens when you get to the bottom of the barrel, she apologized and walked away. It is unacceptable that they knowingly serve inaccurate products and did not offer a new flavor or refund even though I hadn’t touched it (5.50$ for 2 scoops of ice cream). What upsets me most is that is a non vegan person had this experience, they may generalize such a poor experience as typical of the vegan community as a whole. We were so disappointed.
