The cakes are really good and the staff is really nice. They also offer coffee (with a lot of vegetable milk options) and hot chocolate. You can also order cakes.
Pastelería vegana con un montón de tartas, muffins, brownies y galletas. Mis favoritas: la de Oreo, la de Nutella y la de cacahuete y chocolate. En general están riquísimas y todo el mundo en la tienda es supermajo. También te puedes tomar un café (tienen muchas leches vegetales diferentes) y chocolate caliente. Hacen también tartas por encargo.

A bit pricey as a lot of vegan options are but what a treat!

This had the best white chocolate cake I ever had AND it was vegan. Also had a great hot chocolate, and the owner was very nice. I’m not much of a foodie, I mostly travel to see things. But I’d considering going back to for a few if the restaurants and this cake place.

Read moreYesterday, I bought the cinnamon buns and a slice of the tiramisu cake to go. The cinnamon buns were very rich and the bottom halves of them were too moist for my taste, but the flavor was excellent. The tiramisu cake was OUTSTANDING....so much so that I returned today for another piece along with a slice of the red velvet cake. They're now both in my belly.
I can't recommend this place enough!

Cons: There's not one next door to my house.

I'm not making it exaggerated but was extremely happy with their service especially to Isabel who is patiently helping me with my surprise delivery order for a special friend. They don't really deliver big cakes as it was delicate to travel but bc they care about their customer, they will help you as much as they can. btw they like the cake.

I finally tried the cakes from Freedom Cakes (I'm not such a sweet tooth in general), and my mind was blown. The Oreo Cake was heavenly, perfectly moist, and full of flavor! Also not overtly sweet, which is often issue with vegan bakeries.. Also definitely best cheesecake I've had since going vegan. I am definitely gonna go back for more flavors!

Wow! Wish we had come to Freedom Cakes earlier in the trip. Had the white chocolate cake which was like nothing I’ve had before... agree with a previous comment that this has to be one of the best vegan bakeries I’ve been to, rivalling New York! Staff lovely and very kindly recommended the white chocolate cake or a cheesecake as they’re usually the options vegans struggle to find. I’d like to go back and try everything!

We had coffee, a chai latte and a dulce de leche cake here and it was all perfect! The cake was moist with the most creamy icing and filling I have ever had in a cake - can’t believe it’s really vegan! The staff were friendly and the atmosphere welcoming. Reasonable prices for the coffee and cake as well. We loved it!

This place is a MUST! First of all, we couldn't believe everything was vegan. We had to double check. The cheesecake and the giant chocolate chip cookie were exquisite. Staff were friendly too. Words cannot do this place justice.

The only down side is the shop is small and gets rammed like you wouldn't believe. There's a few small tables that are always occupied by young teens in no hurry to move on and then there's a small "bar" shelf thing that you can stand at.
Although its busy, noisy and small, the vibe is awesome and the food and drinks are excellent! We're going back to Madrid soon and will be stopping by Freedom Cakes for sure!

Being severely allergic to milk, I haven't had a cappuccino in forever! It was so delicious, tasted like the real thing and I just couldn't get over how the whipped cream didn't taste like coconut. The vanilla milk shake was delicious and the oreo cake was to die for. The staff was extremely nice and spoke quite a bit of english. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone! The prices were extremely reasonable too. Don't let the 2 dollar signs put you off, you really need to try this place out.
