Nice location but food is lacking - Edit
They have a separate vegan menu including vegetable tempura, nigiri and sushi rolls. The food however is quite bland, potentially worth it if you are travelling in an omni group and want to see the location from kill bill - but there’s better vegan food in Tokyo.

A bit overrated - Edit
It's not bad, but I felt that they are super hyped because their kill Bill Location and not for the food. The Location ist great, it's really unique. Staff was friendly, I ordered the tempura Set and the skewers Set and they asked If they should change the frying oil for me, which was really nice. The Sushi Platter is sadly only available for dinner, not for lunch. The tempura set was nice, but a bit expensive for the size. The skewers set was burned a lot, there were so many black parts I couldn't eat and that just tasted like ashes, which was a bit disappointing. The dishes we ordered also came with a big time difference, I was nearly finished when my boyfriends food arrived and overall, it was really expensive. It was a nice experience to eat in such a special location, but honestly wouldn't come back because the food just wasn't that good and for what you get way to expensive.

The Coolest of the Cool!!! - Edit
When I heard this was the location that inspired the 88 Maniacs set in the scene from Kill Bill, I had to go!! Totally awesome!! The Vegan Roll is so amazing!! Also loved the tofu appetizer and the avocado sushi. My foxy lady had the fish and said it was awesome too. Super cool atmosphere. And the staff was super helpful. I wish I could do 5 stars!!

Don’t bother unless you’re going for kill bill - Edit
Vegan menu is pretty lacking if you go for lunch or in the afternoon. No sushi before 5pm. Tempura was was okay but edamame was undercooked. We didn’t order the skewers or the tofu off the advice from other reviews.
Read moreWe went there with meat eating friends and they enjoyed it. Didn’t really get to enjoy the atmosphere as we were stuck in the corner. The manager was patronising and really mean to his wait staff, very bad vibes.
Bottom line, don’t go there for the vegan food. I’ve heard the Shibuya branch is better for vegans but there’s so many other good vegan places in Tokyo.

Underwhelming and overpriced - Edit
Sushi is fresh but bland, not worth the price point. Cool for a photo and that's about it. The restaurant is nice, I just don't think it's the place to go if you're vegan.

Food ok, atmosphere great but let down by slow service - Edit
We went here to celebrate a friends birthday - three meat eaters and me. Friends opted for the set menu which came across 7 or so courses in waves. I ordered as close as I could, but there was no vegan set menu.
Read moreDisappointingly all of my food came very quickly and in one go, but the rest of the group waited at least 15mins more for just their first course. By the time I gave in and began to eat my food it was cold. I also had to wait a significant time at the end for everyone else to finish! It made me feel excluded from the experience others were having.
The food was ok. As others have said the tofu is incredibly bland (it’s uncooked) and not something I’d order again. The tempura was nice, as were the vegetable skewers.
It was cool to be in the Kill Bill restaurant but unfortunately I think they rely on this.
Pros: Great atmosphere , Separate vegan menu
Cons: Poor service , Expensive for what you get , No set menu for veggies or vegans

Fun place - Edit
Fun atmosphere and the Kill Bill setting was pretty cool. Friendly staff and English menu, accepts credit card. There is a separate vegan menu. They were unfortunately sold out of sushi when I went (8pm) but the other dishes I had were delicious. The tofu is literally just tofu though, no seasoning. Very nice tofu to be fair but a sauce would have been nice. Enjoyable evening but I did feel that my meal wasn't quite as amazing as the meat option my friends were having.

Fun place with separate vegan menu - Edit
We are at the sushi place upstairs but there is also a restaurant with music downstairs. The vegan menu is ok and has a few options! The vegan sushi was not bad and they had separate vegan soy sauce! They seemed very nice and careful. Not sure if the vegetable tempura is cooked in the same oil as the fish, I didn’t ask but it tasted like it might have been. It’s a good option if you’re with friends who want to eat regular sushi!

Good vibes - Edit
The kill bill scene is pretty cool to enjoy. There’s also a rooftop garden dining area. The place seems pretty touristy, but all the staff speak great English. There is also a vegan menu. The sushi bar was closed when I went, but I enjoyed the small dishes instead.

I wish I could rate this as a zero. - Edit
It was a 2 hour wait which isn’t a problem if it was good food,it was not. When we were seated we didn’t see a vegan menu,we had to ask for it. It took them 30 mins to take our order.they said they were out of all sushi even the non vegan kind which is really the only meal on there.we first ordered tofu , it was bland and not good and I wish I was kidding but we found a hair on it.then we saw someone else get served after us that somehow got sushi??we also ordered habanero skewers which really lacked flavor as well. The last thing we ordered was tempura which barely had any batter on them, they were not very good at all.I am thoroughly disappointed. The restaurant was loud and very unpleasant,we only had 5 days to visit and try Tokyo’s amazing food and we made the mistake of choosing here.I do not recommend going here.

Totally bland - Edit
I actively disliked this meal. It was bland with zero flavor whatsoever. I started with the tofu appetizer which was literally just a block of silken tofu and nothing going for it. I forced it down to get my protein for the day. It took 45 minutes for my main course to come out. I ordered the soba and tempura off the main menu and substituted vegan tempura. The noodles were tough and the tempura tasted like nothing. I appreciated the vegan menu, but half of it is sushi and only available starting at 5pm. I suppose it’s acceptable if you’re there for Kill Bill rather than the food.

Nice seating but unprofessional young staff - Edit
This is a restaurant in which you can sit in one of the scenes of the movie Kill Bill. Therefore, the ambience is really nice. They have a vegan menu but don’t provide it immediately. You can ask for it. The sushi roll was delicious but when I ordered the green peppers skewer, they put bonito flakes on it!!! 🥲🥲🥲🥲

Great option in the Roppongi area - Edit
Went in at lunch time and was informed that the sushi is only available for dinner service (wasn't told what time that started).
Read moreOrdered the Vegetable Tempura Rice Bowl as a main, and some skewers to go alongside it. It's quite obvious that the staff here don't fully understand what the term vegan means, as the waitress had to come back 3 different times to ask 3 different questions about the rice bowl.
The tempura is automatically fried in the same oil as meats, egg is used in the batter, and the sauce they put on the rice bowl isn't vegan. You must specially request them to use different oil, not use egg, and not put sauce on.
The food is absolutely delicious though, and I highly recommend all the skewers especially the eringi mushroom.
Pros: Delicious food, Amazing skewers
Cons: Staff don't fully understand what vegan is, Difficult to make the tempura rice bowl vegan

Absolutely amazing experience. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. They had a seperate vegan menu, just need to ask. Very delicious vegan sushi, also have tempura veg, just need to tell them in advance so they can prep. The staff were incredible! Loved every bit of this experience. Cheers for an epic night
