I’ve been here a few times and won’t be back again. It is so hard for me to write negative reviews about independent vegan restaurants because I support the cause, but this place is just so awful I have to. The last two times we went, we ended up taking our food to go and giving it to someone on the street. I love pastor tacos, and these are the absolute worst — it’s more like a stew. Honestly, it’s disgusting. Everything we’ve had — the burritos, enchiladas, and tacos — is just really gross. There are far better places in Mexico City.

I had the tacos Flautas Ahogadas and it was amazing ! Perfect in terms of flavors and quantity and all ingredients were fresh. I will probably come back to taste a few more😄In addition service was super friendly and it is good sitting at the outdoor terrace.

- Antioxidante (juice): Very refreshing albeit a bit watered down!
- Choriqueso: Tasted just like a hot pocket from my youth! Despite its small portion size as an appetizer, it felt a bit greasy and heavy
- Pastor Taco (with added cheese): Good but not exceptional; similar flavor to the Choriqueso but not as good
- Smoked Vegetables Burrito: Definitely had a faint smoky taste. Overall good but not particularly memorable! Added bonus that it came with a side of fries.

Hands down the best tacos I’ve ever had. We stayed in CDMX for a week and had a chance to try A LOT of vegan restaurant. Everything was good of course, but Gracias Madre was above and beyond.
