We lucked out and found this place right under our AirBnb. What a treat! I love being able to enjoy local cuisine and Handwich did not disappoint. The food is hearty and delicious, prices are reasonable, and the owner is friendly and welcoming. I hope to make it back again during our trip.

We had the steak handwich meal and it was absolutely delicious. Not too heavy and the flavours were amazing! It was really good value for money and the lady who served us was really lovely and kind. Definitely go if you’re in Athens.

La mejor opción de comida rápida y típica de Grecia. La chica es, además, majísima, nos dio a probar gratis el no pollo que está riquísimo y nos explicó todo lo que tenían. El primer día pedimos el sándwich 2 (Smokey steak)y el 3 (souvlaki) con patatas y la calzone. Son raciones grandes y todo riquísimo, además nos regaló un postre típico. Tiene pedido a domicilio, así que, repetimos y pedimos la opción 1 (gyros) que sin duda es el mejor plato que tienen, y la 8 (kebab). También una especie de empanada de pollo que no nos defraudó, muy rica.

We loved this place. My husband had the mixed grill and I had the tuna sandwich, both with chips. The bread was incredibly soft and fluffy, the food was fresh and we also had two cheesecakes after. All the food was really tasty and the portions were a good size. The staff were so friendly and helpful and gave us recommendations for other areas.

Seriously i had low expectations i ve sen many places of that kind and almast all of them were real flops. Whent there was greeted with smile and then as I am always on the look ordered 2 different sandwitches. One smoky and one kebab fearing from previous experience from other places in the center of Athens that they would not even be eatable.
