The food was excellent, very fresh and prepared very quickly, the restaurant isn’t much to look at, but the owner was not only very friendly, but the food came out really quickly and it was delicious. I highly recommend it.

A HUGE items on the menu to choose from! I had a mini mixed vegan gluten meat( omg, not keto friendly) , bok choy with king oyster mushrooms and a coconut rice (not keto friendly). Affordable & tasty! 😋

Ordered 4 dishes, each was inedible in a different way, veggies did not taste fresh, hot and sour soup tasted like the broth was pure apple cider vinegar, fried food tasted "off".

All-vegan, large menu with a ton of fantastic options. Got the “beef” and green beans in black bean sauce, as well as the spring rolls (crispy and highly recommend). Quite large portion sizes too!

I was blown away by this place. Huge variety of classic Chinese food. Checked online and asked in store and was assured that EVERYTHING on their menu is Vegan. God I wish we had a place like this where we live. Staff were very friendly. The food we had (dry rib, assorted treasures fried rice, eggplant and tofu) was great, good portion sizes and value. The dry rib had a great texture and coating. I strongly recommend visiting this place to anyone, it's a real gem!

Read moreThe steamed buns are everything I hoped they would be. Perfect texture and hearty, savoury veggie flavour inside.
The garlic dry ribs have an awesome, “meaty” texture and flavour, same with the drumsticks.
I got the kung pao “chicken”, which came with a seitan-based chicken and an array of seasoned veggies in the kung pao sauce. Very flavourful with healthy greens.
The “lamb” curry was outstanding, beautiful curry flavour.
Overall, everything here was wonderful and I’m so excited to go back!

Had the hot and sour soup with veggie spring rolls. The soup was thick and medium spice with lots of tofu. The spring rolls were small but a good price for 3.

I love Happy Veggie so much! They have friendly staff, great prices, large portion sizes and delicious food. My favourites are the fried Shanghai noodles, garlic dried ribs, ginger beef, and assorted wheat gluten. Honestly, I haven’t tried a dish that I didn’t like from them. It’s all delicious!

If you’re having trouble finding this place it’s in the green City Plaza pavilion (see pictures for more detail). Inside you’ll find a small food court and it’s the on the left past the hairdressers.

The portions are huge! The soup was really nice, and filling. The tofu rolls were great too, haven’t had anything like those.

This was my first stop after checking into my downtown hotel, and it was exactly what I wanted. Quick, simple, no fuss, good portions, and satisfying. They speak Cantonese and the menu is in English/Chinese.
