Vegan and raw food with a focus on Hemp - Edit
Had a hemp smoothie, salad and hemp hummus. The smoothie, because I wanted to know whether to also buy the hemp protein they sell and decided that that was a yes (they do in addition have other hemp products: hemp seeds, hemp oil, etc). The chef also shares live broadcasts from his Instagram account (in Japanese).

The only thin I wish is that prices would come down in Japan for organic and good material food, as for the quantity, the price is on the higher side.

The food here is so, so, good. So creative, such wonderful, mouth-watering flavours - I love it! There’s one thing, I think it’s kind of like a sliced up burrito - it’s absolutely delicious. The only reason I give this place 4 stars rather than 5 is that it’s quite expensive. I wish it were a little cheaper and more accessible for every budget.

今回注文したのは『チーズブリトー』ですが、ディナーではお通し代が別途必要になるのでご注意下さい。
メインのチーズブリトーは初めのうちは美味かったですが、味が馴染めず、途中から飽きてしまいました。お通しのガーリックトーストは最後まで美味しく頂けました。
駅からは離れていますが、行く価値はあると思います。機会があれば一度お試し下さい。
Hemp Cafe Tokyo is a cafe located in Tokyo (Ebisu, to be exact) that specializes in using hemp as an ingredient. That much you may have guessed. Let me tell you more, and why we walked away a little disappointed.
First, the good: the space is charming and bright, the service was friendly, and I appreciated the English magazines available to read while you waited.
Basically, everything was really nice except the food. We ordered the burrito with cheese, which... didn’t taste like any other burrito I’ve ever had. It wasn’t terrible, but I wouldn’t order it again. The “cheese” was practically liquid, and the hemp oil on top
just tasted kind of weird, in this reviewer’s humble opinion. It was quite pricey but the portion was generously-sized.
So we weren’t crazy about our meal here, but this place comes so highly recommended by many people. I think our mistake was that we both ordered the same thing. If you go here, I suggest you go with a friend and order a few things to share.

Absolutely brilliant. (Poorly signposted but on the top floor of the building that has a "rainbow raw foods" sign outside (same owner)). The staff were very nice (although pescatarian!?) The atmosphere was very chill, the place was clean and comfortable, they had a Hawaiian surfing competition on a projector. The food was fast, immaculately presented, filling and super super tasty. The vegan Mexican Japanese fusion is one of the most interesting ideas I've seen and it does not disappoint! Homemade cheeses are off the hook. Thoroughly recommend!!

This hemp based joint has a Hawaii surfer theme and best to stick to menu items that go along with that, so avoid the sushi, but the nachos were great. Try the hemp beer.

I had the teriyaki BBQ burrito with a hemp protein smoothie. The burrito has great umami barbecue flavor. It has mince and veggies inside and some vegan mayo on top. Pretty delicious! The smoothie is banana based and has a thick smoothie texture. The meal cost 2440 yen.
The menu also has other choices like nachos and raw seaweed rolls. Beer is also available. Please check whether they are vegan.
This cafe has a hemp and surfer theme with surfer video playing in the big screen. The vibe is pretty chill and will be good for a dinner with a group of friends.

Arrived at 2:28pm only to be told last orders for lunch is at 2:30pm, so apparently I was too late.
The advertised opening hours are 11:00am > 5:00pm with last orders at 4:30pm.
Take note if you plan to visit. See photo.
It’s still there at least but might not be if they carry on like this.

The taste is okay, not particularly Mexican (but that's okay, I wasn't really expecting that). There's a lot of tomato, some mince, while the rest is a bit muddled.
I was more put-off by the ¥300 cover charge. It says it's an included appetiser, but I had to ask for it before it came. Basically the "hemp onion bread" is a tortilla cut into 4 pieces, and not especially tasty nor filling, so I thought this was really unnecessary.
I would've rather spend my ¥1160 on something that fills me up =(
(which means not forcing this appetiser on me and choosing something else. I could even understand if they had "minimum charge is xx")
Maybe in the end, it wasn't particularly yummy, not filling, and there's an increase of choices in Tokyo.

Tried the hemp guacamole, vegetables maki and melted cheese burritos. Everything was good, in large portions and the staff was very nice. The drinks were awesome too, especially the smoothie with hemp powder and green vegetables.

Variety was actually better than I expected, some of the ingredients from one dish was reused in another but still tasted different and fantastic! The vibes were nice, calm ambiance. My partner and I had the cheesy nachos, Mexican burrito and hemp tacos. Definitely coming back!

Came here to round off my trip to Japan and it was exactly what I needed. The tacos were glorious (I'm Mexican, so I know good tacos). I also highly recommend the raw chocolate cake. Good vibes all around. Made me want to move to Tokyo one day!
