This food “factory” offer so many quality solutions for vegans. You will rarely be disappointed by the food. When traveling it is a save- late lunches to end yr day trip. Breakfast on 8 just before your day and you can take away pasteries for your journey.

I have been here for lunch many times over the past few years. I have found the food to be simple but good. Today's meal of the day cost 20,900 pesos and included a glass of juice, a bowl of soup, and the main plate with whole grain rice, garbanzo beans and a nice salad.
Read moreFor their meal of the day, they seem to focus on simple meals that are easy to make. Sometimes they will have the exact same meal twice in the same week so the variety is not that great. For example, last week they had lasagna twice in the same week as the meal of the day. Many of their meals would be easy enough to make at home and when I go to a restaurant I like to have something a little more elaborate.
Here, you pay before you eat. Pay at the cash register that's on the left side as you walk in and they will give you a pager. When the pager vibrates you go to the back and pick up your meal and go sit at a table. Try to get here either at noon or 1:00. If you get here at 12:30 the line can sometimes be out the door and you'll end up waiting at least 20 minutes for your food to be ready.
If you send them a message on WhatsApp they will send you a picture and description of the meal of the day. It's also on their Instagram page.

De los primeros si no el primer restaurante vegano de Bogotá, antes bajo el nombre de "Loving Hut" en un pequeño local, hasta crecer a su gran lugar en la 100 con Av Suba y luego su segundo punto en la calle 71 con 9na, Herbivoro siempre ha tenido menú del día muy variado y platos a la carta con opciones de todos los gustos, desde desayunos, platos fuertes, comidas rápidas, bebidas y postres, además ambos puntos cuentan con espacios en dónde se realizan diversos eventos.

I've been here 3 times now with different people and everyone has always loved the food. I've tried a few different things on the menu and everything is good but for me their pizza's are where they really excel. If you like pizza then you must try one here, they are unlike the pizza's you find in the neighbourhoods and similar to what you would find in Italy. The base 5🌟 and with the melted vegan cheese and great tasting toppings you can't go wrong.

We came here twice because we wanted to try some breakfast things. The first time we came here we wanted the Açai bowl, but they were out of them? Then one month later we tried again for the bowl, still not there. It makes sense that’s it’s just not a part of their menu at all. Too expensive to make? Maybe. A pitty, but please notify people when they want to order.

They also sell tarts and savoury stuff. All is good and tasty, but they buy this from others. They don’t make it their selves.
Cannot recommend.

Best Vegan Restaurant in Bogota Colombia - Edit
Herbivoro is super cool. Delicious food. Nice ambience with many plants. My favorite is the Falafel Wrap, calzones, menu of the day. You can buy bulk food, and eco-friendly soap and detergent, too for all the zero waste fans here! The wifi connection is good to work for digital nomads and backpackers. The staff is friendly, and its very clean. Overall, for location and the quality of the food (especially the burgers, pizza, and local traditional food), this is one of the best vegan restaurants in Bogota. If you have not tried the ice cream, please try the Guanabana flavor. And you are in Colombia, so maybe go for the coffee and espresso to try a local brand. If you need to buy snacks or personal items, they also have a great shop in the restaurant with ecological products. As a vegan for 8 years now, I go here all the time it's in my top 3 veg food locations in the city. The empanadas are really good, you are in Bogota, try the empanadas!! 5 Stars.
