The place is really nice. Employees are kind but weekend buffet was not so cheap. They can add cheaper options.

Wonderful vegan food - Edit
We ordered food for home delivery through a third-party app. The food was well served, had a good presentation and tasted very good! All the packaging was from vegware, which is compostable.

Good food in center of town - Edit
I ate here on a Monday for lunch. I chose the 8.50€ medium size plate which gives you one trip to the buffet (9.50 Sat and Sun). You can really load up the plate so unless you're incredibly hungry there's no need to get the all-you-can-eat plate which costs 13.50€. The food was good although not extraordinary. It also comes with a bowl of soup and a cup of tea.

Nice buffet with soup/ 2~3 starters a few mains. Different options available, you can eat from €6 which is fair, or splurge for all you can eat for €13, great value if you eat like a cow, just like my husband.

On the expensive side, but still great! - Edit
The food was great, many options, but a bit expensive for Braga. The outside sitting area is the best!

Great Buffett! - Edit
So many vegan/vegetarian options in Europe are raw or curry-based, so finding the Hibiscus buffet was a lifesaver and really enjoyable. It’s not cheap, but it’s simple, clean comfort food.
Read moreEvery day, there is a different soup (like a creamy legume or squash), around six buffet dishes (at least a rice, a seitan, a tofu, and a vegetable), around four different cold salads (a lettuce, a shaved veg like beet or carrot, and a few other creations), various bite-sized bread pieces, and a few additional bready options (maybe garlic or tomato-topped).
Tea is free (possibly coffee?—I didn’t partake) and there’s water for purchase. There are several desserts for purchase as well, like faux cheesecake or mousse lemon square, which we regrettably didn’t try until our 5th trip there.
The building has a lovely two-story rustic cottage feel, and is bright, clean, and comfortable. Several tourists ventured in, but it felt like a locals fav. The hours are stunted (12p-3p most days), so be aware of that. The workers were nice and could converse in English and, for some reason, I appreciated when I saw them sitting with pals to eat their own food—like we’re just joining them for lunch and they, too, know what a treat their restaurant is.
The whole place just seemed homey, casual, and honest.
Pros: Variety, Tasty, Casual
Cons: Drink Limitations, Food Temperature, Expensive

Too expensive for Portugal - Edit
The bill is depending on the plate's colour. The brownish plate allows you to go as much as you can eat to the buffet. It costs 13 € including tea. If you take the white plate, you can fill it once. Although the buffet is offering a large choice and the staff is friendly, the bill is too high for Portugal.

Most beautiful vegan restaurant I've been - Edit
The house where where Hibiscus is located is the most beautiful vegan restaurant I've been. It has a big garden and it's on the city center, though in a very quite place. It was raining, so we couln´t go to the garden.

Great all-vegan place - Edit
At dinner (buffet), you can choose either single feeling of a big plate (euro 8.5), or re-feel (euro 13.5, hope I am correct with the numbers), both with soup, bread and herbs tea. They had 3 hot dishes (Tofu based, seiten and cuscus with vegetables), rice, few salads and interesting starters (incl. tempura peppers and pie). All tasty , although the salad lacked some seasoning. The place in very nice, hidden in a court yard , the staff was extremely pleasant. We also had desserts (not included): chocolate pie (not on the sweet side) and passionfruit mousse, which I loved.

Lovely Vegan restaurant - Edit
Ot is the Only 100% vegan restaurant in braga, amazing homemade food and lovely terrace. Free tea. The only reason it’s not a 5star is the price, for Portugal was expecting a little bit cheaper. Half plate 6€, normal plate 8€, you can only serve once where you need to fit the salad and the hot options. 13€ all you can eat. Soup included. The desert was amazing! Pet friendly (only on the terrace though)
