Great Vegan Cheesesteak - Edit

I’ve tried a good amount of seitan cheesesteaks in Philly and I always come back to Interstate. Also helps that it’s a great neighborhood bar with friendly staff and a nice backyard area. Grab their vegan cheesesteak with a Fishtown Iced Tea - trust me.

More than a few vegan options! Tasty. Dogs allowed outside.
They have a patio. Good drinks!

Vegan-friendly dive bar - Edit

Great chill vibes and yummy vegan foods here! Try the seitan wings or really any of their seitan items. They add new vegan specials all the time too.

I know it’s weird to get a salad at a dive bar but the Mexican seitan salad (hold the parm and polenta bc it has butter) is one of my favorite salads in the city. It has magic dressing and magic seitan on it—sweet, spicy, juicy...SO GOOD! I crave this salad. Can’t explain it.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Great beer list, Laid back atmosphere and nice patio

Veg-friendly pub grub! - Edit

The place is very unassuming from the outside. However, it's surprisingly spacious inside, offering tasty vegan items and lots of good beer. The bar is at the front and the dining room is toward the back, with outdoor seating available. The seitan cheesesteak with Daiya cheese is excellent, probably one of the best vegan Philly cheesesteaks I've tried. The grilled seitan tips are also delicious! They also have a great variety of beers on tap (duh, it's got "drafthouse" in its name) and a strong Fishtown iced tea (vodka, gin, tequila, rum, and Triple Sec, served with Arctic Splash Iced Tea in its own container) that's very refreshing, especially in the warmer months. It can get noisy when it's busy but it's a pub: consider it ambiance ;)
