I'm not sure what the reviewer below is talking about JaJaJa having no flavor... I ate here about 10 hours ago and I can still taste the deliciousness in my mouth!
Read moreMy husband and I arrived on a very busy Saturday afternoon of a holiday weekend. The place was PACKED but our hostess was incredible, told us it would only be a 20 minute wait and about 15 minutes later we were seated. Our waitress was equally awesome, arriving at our table promptly, and even though the place was busy, she came to our table smiling and happy to offer recommendations. We tried the Mole Enchiladas, Buffalo Tacos, Fish Tacos, Ceviche starter plate, and Mexican Corn side... OMG, I think I found a new favorite restaurant in NYC!
Everything was incredibly flavorful! The Mexican corn was the smoothest and tastiest I have ever had anywhere... the tacos were insane, I still cannot believe they were all vegetables. My Mole dish was the perfect amount of spice and savoriness.
In addition to the above, we also tried the Sangria and Frozen Margaritas, both potent and delicious. For dessert we splurged on Churritos and Caramel Flan, again both were just perfection, nicely sweet and incredibly delectable.
JaJaJa is vegan perfection! I can't wait to return.

The food had absolutely no flavor and the portions were very small. Also it seemed like they had 1 waiter for the entire place which was packed. I told the waiter we were in a rush and that we needed the check and he took 15 min to bring the check. Also took asking twice before I got a glass of water. Such a disappointment.

Maybe the best Mexican meal ever. We tried the mole enchilada (melts in your mouth), "palm carnitas" tacos (delicious--you'll want to stay and sample every one of the five tacos on the menu), and to top it all off for dessert, freshly made for the table churritos with a coconut dulce de leche dipping sauce. The churritos were over the top amazing. We had a side of taza chocolate (basically hot chocolate) to dip our churritos in, but they would be to die for either way. The baby arugula salad was the only dish that wasn't one to write home about (a little overdressed), but was still very nice and refreshing.

Jajaja is so good!!! Just had lunch with my friend there. We got there around two (on a Thursday) and only a few of the other tables were taken. By the time we left around 3:30 it was a bit more crowded, but it was still a lovely atmosphere. The food was delicious--I got the nachos which were super tasty. They were very flavorful and it was a large portion. My friend got the burrito (which is smothered in tri colored sauce) and loved it. I got the jalapeño pomegranate cocktail which was a great tequila drink with a bit of spice, and my friend got the matcha coconut cocktail which was so beautiful and very tasty. Our waitress was super kind and helpful and gave great suggestions. We were too full to get dessert, but I'm definitely coming back for the churros. So excited to finally have a vegan Mexican restaurant!!! The whole experience was awesome and I definitely recommend!

I'm a crazy plantbased eater, hands down one of the best meals I have ever had, MUST try in NYC! Had the beet and pumpkin empanada, chile relleno, mole... all were awesome. Plus side is the ambiance is amazinggggg and the staff is great. Creative ingredients and each bite is heaven

Read moreAfter being warmly greeted at the front door and escorted directly to a lovely table I struck up a conversation with one of the managers who guided me through the menu.
I ordered the chorizo tacos which were so eerily familiar to its non vegan counterpart that I had to ask the server if it was really vegan.
The palm carnitas taco were also amazing. I really enjoyed the two different versions of tortillas, turmeric and blueberry/flax seed.
Also had the empanada and my only complaint was that I wanted it to be bigger but that's mostly because it was so good.
My server recommended the cilantro and mezcal cocktail which was delicious but potent!!
A delicious meal, a beautiful dining room and wonderful staff made this one of my best meals on my recent trip to New York and I can't wait to return to the city just for another visit.
Pros: delicious food , beautiful space, wonderful staff
