Nice little place inside a 5star hotel. - Edit
Located inside 5 star hotel, in the lobby. You can order and sit anywhere and relax in the beautiful lobby. It's classy, food and coffee is ok, nothing fancy, very ordinary.

As good as it gets - Edit
For vegan cafe food this is about as good as it gets...lots of sweet and savoury options plus hot and cold drinks, all vegan, in a pleasant atmosphere.

Small coffee shop in hotel - Edit
Small coffee shop located in a 5*hotel with some tables outside and inside. The food was really good and the service was great. A little bit pricey.

Hidden and delicious vegan gem - Edit
So many options! Great environment in a great hotel. Absolutely delicious and exactly what I would hope it would be. ALSO, sustainable takeaway packaging and utensils.

Good selection not the best food - Edit
Went there for a quick bite in the morning. I was super excited about a fully vegan place but I was disappointed. The lemon cake was dry and it was a bit expensive. The place is quite fancy.

Ok+ - Edit
Great with a fully vegan place, but I really don’t get the hype of this place. Tried food from there twice and both times it’s been quite bland. Not really worth it for the price😄

Best vegan food in Malta - Edit
We loved this place and came twice despite it being nowhere near where we were staying. The menu comprising of Buddha Bowls, Salads, Sandwiches and Cakes may not sound particularly original, but everything we ate was delicious and beautifully made and presented. The service was warm and friendly and the hotel itself seemed lovely. I would stay there for this cafe alone.

Exceptional - Edit
During our week’s stay in Malta, we visited Josephine’s Coffee twice from Valletta - a pretty short journey by bus or taxi, and even walkable if you’re feeling energetic - probably better to walk afterwards, to burn off the delicious calories!
Read moreWe had the ‘Fried Chicken’ Pain Bagnat, Black Rice Buddha Bowl, Lemon Cake and a couple of fab pastries - all amazing!
Wonderful setting too. Although we opted to eat in the lobby of the hotel where Josephine’s is located, you can also grab a table in the hotel’s beautiful gardens.
Friendly and very professional service from everyone we spoke to.
Although they’re based in a luxury hotel, they won’t make exceptions when asked for non plant-based milk, although they do offer honey with hot drinks if asked.
Pros: Amazing food - savoury and cakes., Friendly service., Great surroundings.
Cons: Plant-based - they serve honey with hot drinks.

Stunning Location - Edit
Inside the hotel the setting is great. Options on the day we visited were few. Cake we had was nice, we also tried smoothie which again was nice but overall food was lacking wow factor.

Right next to San Anton Garden - Edit
Such a lovely cafe right across from the San Anton Garden which is a stop on the hop on hop off bus North route. Completely vegan, with coffee's, tea's, juices, pastries & cakes. The cafe is just inside the hotel as you enter on the right, & I enjoyed a coffee & a Danish pastry in the gardens out the front. Lovely after a wander around San Anton garden!

Great vegan food in a chic hotel - Edit
We enjoyed great mocca, chai latte and raspberry croissant in the morning. And took with us for a picnic the TLT sandwich (toasted barley bread with tempeh, lettuce, tomato, mayo & sweet potatoes and beetroot crisps) and the 'fried chicken' pain bagnat (fried mushrooms, tofu, thousand island dressing, tomato & vegetables crisps).

Really enjoyed the food. the miso brown rice porridge is excellent, the fried mushroom and tofu sandwich is delicious, the cakes superb! the salad with the whipped tofu is very-very nice, the tempeh sandwich is good but i would marinate the tempeh a bit more (i am not a big tempeh lover though)
