Great spot for lunch. Friendly owner and interesting menu. Nice place to sit and watch the world go by. Sadly no coffee on our visit.

Dropped in for a quick bite to eat. Nice location on quiet street. Falafel was OK but a bit sausage like in texture. Humus was OK but the pita bread was really good. Chickpea burger was tasty if a little dry. Wine and beer were good. Overall a nice place to visit.

L'emplacement est super, la carte assez diversifiée mais la qualité n'est pas au rendez-vous, même si ce n'est pas très cher et copieux. Les plats sont très basiques, une cuisine qu'on peut largement faire à la maison. Ne vous arrêtez pas là pour faire une expérience d'arancini, ce n'est vraiment pas leur fort ! En d'autres mots, ça dépanne mais c'est tout !

Doy 3 estrellas porque de los 3 restaurantes veganos en Siracusa, este era el único más barato y con bastante opciones. La pasta y el gnocchi estaban buenos, pesar de no estar tan caliente y tampoco especificar los ingredientes en el menú. El arancini estaba hecho de berenjena, calabacín y una especie de harina que se parecía con pan rallado o couscous) y no llevaba arroz y tampoco sal. No lo recomiendo. En el baño era una especie de trastero lleno de trastos con polvo y la puerta del baño no se cierra. Los cubiertos estaban sucios y finalmente nos cobró 5€ a más que después fuimos a mirar en las letras pequeñas del menú que se cobra 2,50€ por persona el “servicio ecológico a la mesa”, que sería básicamente servirnos. Ambiente adentro un poco confuso y caótico, ya que había muchos carteles que no estaban claros. No se sabe si era un restaurante o una tienda. A pesar de todo eso, la comida que es lo importante estaba buena.

Read moreI had vegan pasta carbonara for €10 which didn't really taste like the not-vegan carbonara I remember but it was delicious in its own way 😊 but half of a starter would have been necessary to get completely full.
The outside area is charmingly designed and the owner is really nice. I got the feeling he is really into his vegan project there.
Oh, and there are gluten-free options, too!

Siamo andati alle 14.30, ci siamo seduti all’esterno e abbiamo provato: panelle con salsa e limone, piatto unico (piatto mix di caponata, melanzane, falafel, cous cous, insalata, spinaci e gallette di riso, con salsa) e cannolo. Ci siamo trovati molto bene, personale preparato, tutto fresco e impeccabile.

Read moreVery basic stuff you can cook at home with the same quality. It’s okay for the price. It seems to be prepared in the morning and warmed up for orders, unfortunately not always completely warmed. Really seems like there is no cook, but just one person with good intentions running the whole thing, which is quite impressive.
The place lives from its heart-warming atmosphere, with Sea-Shepherd merch and so on.

Pleasant dining experience in Ortigia. We had the Hemp burger and lentil burger, both very tasty and different. Note the burgers dont come with fries as standard (order these as extras) Pasta dishes looked and smelled really good (At the table next to us)

Great to find fully vegan place, menu varied with choices of veganised italian classics but also burgers. We had the pasta nonna and the gnocchi, both were fine. Staff not very warm or friendly. Will go back to try other dishes as always good to support vegan initiatives - maybe the staff will have cheered up a bit...

I really don't want to be mean, since the staff was very friendly, prices were good and the restaurant is nice, but the food was just... very odd. We had falafel that felt as if they were not fried but just raw chickpeas, a chickpea burger whose patty was like chickpea mash and felt like it never saw a grill or a pan. A tiramisu that was inedible and sour as if it was spoiled... i don't know if we just got there on a bad day, where the stove was out of order... but at least for us, this was really unusual.
