Kamado Kitchen - Edit
We heard a lot of good reviews about this place that open not long ago and decided to go check it out.
Read morewe ordered all the vegan dishes on the menu which included 3 different gyozas, egg roll, tofu bun, pickles and a ramen.
now as for the taste, the egg roll was nice but basic, crispy but the filling felt very dull and monotonous with not much color from a variety of vegetables.
The pickles were nice, I loved the classic carrot ones and my friend loved the pickles with the cabbage and ginger.
The gyozas were a bit disappointing, unfortunately most of them came burnt and the burnt taste took over the taste of the filling.
Our favorite dishes were the tofu bun and the ramen. the bun was excellent, the tofu was crispy and tender and I really liked the sauce.
The ramen is the flagship dish of the place, the vegan broth is excellent, I loved the touch of the shred tofu and the noodles were soft and cooked properly.
I will also note that the place is quite small and in some of the tables far from the restaurant there is no heating. For dessert they only had ice cream that was less suitable for winter days.
Pros: good vegan ramen, tasty bun
Cons: small menu, not much sitting place, only 1 dessert
