Tiny little place…cooked fresh to order - Edit
Next door to a guesthouse run by the same family. Food was freshly cooked to order and an additional soup was provided without charge. Food was rather bland for Thailand , but nice enough

Passionate talented vegan cooking - Edit
If you've been looking for truly authentic vegan Thai food that includes traditional pungent ingredients like garlic and onions (which are excluded from jay food), this is the place for you. The wonderful owner is really passionate about sharing the flavours of the food that she makes for her family. Food is cooked fresh, there is a small menu but it's always worth asking what she has available, because she often has something special to offer. Flavours are perfectly balanced and the food is prepared with love.

Pros: Perfectly balanced flavours , Good variety on offer , Chilled atmosphere
Cons: Easy to eat too much!

Note: the owner identifies the restaurant as mangsawirat (vegetarian) because it is not a jay restaurant, but dishes are vegan. (The Jay diet is vegan and excludes certain plants like garlic and onion, which are used in this restaurant.)

Fantastic breakfast and dinner - Edit
We stayed in this traditional, family-run Thai house guesthouse 2 weeks ago and were very pleasantly surprised to discover that it's a vegetarian guesthouse with also a Thai vegan restaurant onsite, as we are a family of 5 of whom 3 of us are vegetarian/vegan.
Read moreThe breakfast included with the rooms is by default lacto-ovo egg omelette with vegetable bits and toast with butter and jam. When we requested for vegan option for our family breakfast, we were given the best khao tom (a Thai porridge consisting of boiled rice in veg broth) we ever had, with generous bits of fresh mushrooms, vegetables and vegan moo-yor (Northern Thai white 'pork' sausages) within. And a plate of juicy watermelon. And additionally, a plate of fried glass noodles on our 1st morning and a plate of fried potatoes on our second morning!
For our dinner, we asked for a one-bowl dish of sukiyaki soup. Taste was great too!
Pros: A few popular among Thais dishes, Dishes served without 5 pungent plants, Location, staff
Cons: Mother/owner/chef may be out at times during lunch
