Tasty affordable food, dishes may be small... - Edit
I like it that they are into sustainability: they use washable napkins, the furniture looks second hand, etc. Nice no nonsense atmosphere. Always several dishes to choose from, and these change frequently. Wonderful deserts as well. All 100% vegan :-)

We went back and had a very nice tapas plank with some meat replacements, 'cheese', bread and spreads etc. We also had a curry with cauliflower beignets, and a lasagne. The food was really nice and the price is affordable.
Update 27 April :
We had spring herb puree with poached vegetables, tempeh, (roasted?) capers and veganaise. It was very nice and the (roasted? fried?) capers are just delicious. We ended our evening with the best tiramisu ever! All vegan, yes!
Updates
Great pasta, nice chocolate cake. Dishes change regularly and are always nice.
The chocolare mousse is wonderful as well!
December 2024:
We were past 2pm, so no lunch anymore, but we could order soup with bread and "butter". The soup was cold and the portions so small... We told about the soup not being warm, and were offered a drink, but we wanted to leave, so we didn't take the offer. The waiter did charge less though, which we appreciated. We didn't tell about the small portions since we don't like to complain... But on a anotice, the portions are often on the smaller side there, and sometimes it does feel as if the free dishes for people who can't afford a dish or who pay the minimum (and for which in fact normal guests pay), do lead to small portions for paying guests. The concept of free or cheap dishes for some people should not lead to small dishes for other guests...
On a later visit we went for lunch and the portion was a child portion, so small...

Original vegetables based restaurant - Edit
Restaurant with a warm atmosphere with welcoming staff and original and sophisticated cuisine mainly focused on vegetables. Positive point: tap water is free.
Read moreWe had a plate of the day consisting of roasted celeriac, beetroot carpaccio, roasted fennel, grilled white beans, whipped butter, shallots confit with miso, roasted pumpkin topped with a crumble of roasted seeds.
We also tasted the lasagna which was very good.
Finally we finished with waffles with an extra chocolate sauce and homemade vanilla ice cream. They were not the best vegan waffles in town nor the best vanilla ice cream, but the whole was very good.
I totally recommend this original restaurant!
Pros: Original, tasty, healthy food, Wide range of desserts, Free tap water
Cons: waffles and ice cream could be a bit more tasty

Amazing place with a weekly changing menu and vegan Irish coffee - Edit
Socially conscious restaurant where you pay what you can afford (only valid for the dish of the day). On Sundays they serve pancakes and on Thursdays they do a Happy hour where you can order a vegan Irish coffee for 6,5 euro.

Home made feeling, excellent cooking - Edit
I took the Lentekruidenpurée with poached greens, tempeh and veganaise, and it was honestly delicious. Paired with an Ouwen Duiker beer. Warmly recommended.

Accessible vegan food - Edit
I was really curious about this new place around the corner, as everything on the menu is vegan and homemade. I went for the seitan steak with onion sauce, chicory and roasted potatoes. The seitan steak was really soft and flavourful, unlike any seitan I had before. I love that the dishes are simple yet really nice. I ended with the homemade ice cream and went for the vanilla, chocolate and salted peanut flavours. They were really creamy and had a slight flavour of oats (I think?). Again, simple yet really nice. I enjoyed all of the food and the staff was also really friendly. It's also really cool that they offer a daily menu with a pay-what-you-can system to also make it accessible for people who usually can't afford to go to a restaurant. Literally the only downside was that it was hard to have a conversation at times due to the poor acoustics. I hope they will manage to improve this by adding some wall arts and perhaps even some more plants. Will return nevertheless!
Read moreUpdate: they have recently added some acoustic panels and it's already a world of difference. Also, they added vegan tiramisu and cheesecake on their menu, and both are exquisite. They are currently also working on a sunny terrace in the back for summer, which I'm really looking forward to.

Authentic and tasty! - Edit
This is a very friendly and authentic place where they noticebally care about being sustainable. All the food is vegan and very tasty. The menu is not so big what makes it more real in my opinion. Cosy atmosphere and just overall good vibes.
