One option for vegans - Edit
This place looks like nice inside if you like IKEA’s version of Asian. I talked to the main waiter who has good English and has been at Kintsugi since it opened. I also had two bilingual friends with me. According to the unapologetic waiter the only vegan food options available are the miso soup and the wok fried veg with rice as long as you make sure they do not add the oyster sauce! Everything else inc the noodles has eggs in it or something else involving death. So although the tofu and wok fried veg with rice was nice and the miso soup very ‘misoey’ , I can’t really recommend this place unless you are really short of options (which in Karlovac is quite likely!). But they will review their menu in the spring so fingers crossed!

A unique place in Karlovac - Edit
A decent restaurant with tasty vegetarian and some vegan dishes-Kintsugi is something really unique in Karlovac. Vegetarian dishes are clearly labeled, but that is not the case with vegan ones, so specify vegan when ordering. Veggie noodles and spring rolls are already completely vegan, and wok tofu can be made vegan (omit oyster sauce). The minus is that they are not that flexible to veganize all their veg recipes (for example, tofu katsu contains eggs, although the breading can easily be made without it).
