Decent vegan breakfast - Edit
Vegan breakfast was really tasty, although it could bigger and have more protein - it was almost all cabrohydrates. Good fresh orange juice

Mezze - Edit
Knofi is Located in Bergmannkiez, one of Berlin's most charming neighborhoods, and surrounded by restaurants on all sides.
Read moreI went here on a summer evening with a couple of friends. There was outdoor seating for about 26 people and indoor seating for about 20. The interior design felt very much like a mezze place. There was a huge wall full of Mediterranean products like oil, pasta, tomato sauce. There service was very good and the waiter very friendly.
Unfortunately, there was not that many vegan options to choose from. I had Hülya's Versuchung (12,90€) and we also got some vegan spreads to eat with bread. The spreads with bread were definitely the highlight. My main dish was just alright.

Super tasty - Edit
It was incredibly tasty (had a plate with different vegan dips, filled wine leafs etc.) and the vegan options are marked clearly. There is even a vegan breakfast. The restaurant is really cozy and the staff friendly.
Read moreI can't confirm if the bread is not vegan (I read about it after my visit in another review here), so maybe you better ask to make sure.
Pros: Great mediterranean food, Nice atmosphere, Vegan options clearly labelled

Not very vegan friendly - Edit
I got the impression this place probably has enough vegan options but most dips actually have fresh cream in. Moreover, we was told that even the bread is not vegan. Our meal was essentially composed of hummus, olives, wine leafs and a salad. It was ok but it did not feel like a proper meal to me.
Read moreThe staff is friendly though but I think for vegans there are far better options in this area.
Pros: friendly staff
Cons: not many vegan options, bread is not vegan

Vegan knofi plate - Edit
The menu and signs outside didn't seem very vegan-friendly, but when we asked for a veganized version of the "Knofi teller" (3 different dips, wine leaf dolma, chickpea fritter, tabouleh, pickled beetroot and bread) our waiter understood immediately and brought us a gorgeous selection of various goodies. Great price-quality ratio as well!

veganes Frühstück ist sehr lecker! - Edit
