We really enjoyed our time here. The lovely porch is a perfect place to dine. We had falafel, the Green Lentil salad, gnocchi and basil hummus. Everything was delicious!

Read moreFirst, the staff and the place were just SO nice and elegant (a lovely and calm little garden in the city), and most importantly, the food was just DELICIOUS, fine, fresh, surprising (some turkish vegan recipes I didn't know, like the kibbeh and a rosted eggplant mashed with parsley and a lot of tahin, for instance) Mmmmmmmm, the owner (and also Chef) told us that those tastes came from his childhood: we could definitely feel it! Everythings were prepared with so much LOVE and attention!!
We left their little garden with our bodies and soul filled (and full😋) with their kindness and wonderdul food: many Thanks and congratulations again!!!
P.s: and the bill was very reasonnable!!🙏🏻

Really nice staff and the atmosphere in the garden is amazing! One of the best falafel I ever had. They also have vegan Ayran, if you want to try a turkish classic. I didn't like it, but I think I wouldn't like cow Ayran as well😂

It’s a beautiful place, in my opinion the best vegan kitchen in Istanbul. I have tried 5 vegan restaurants in Istanbul an was a little bit disappointed, but that one saved it! They have a (weekly?) changing extra menu. You can taste, that somebody has put time and love into the food. It’s really good seasoned and tastes amazing. Everybody was lovely and friendly, the service was also really kind.

This place is incredibly beautiful, shepperd's pie was tasty, we came at opening time, nobody was there, woman who met us was super nice, we asked her about sockets in garden area, opened notebooks, she took order and after that owner came and told us that it is no working place and only "short work" is allowed and offered us to go in coworking place where we should pay for hours , super friendly 😀

If it's not clear and logical I will explain in simple words. if we come and ask if we could work in your place you should say no before we order food in your "restaurant". And we didn't like your rude comment about us working at your place AFTER WE SET UP AND ORDERED FOOD. good luck. Also if you consider your place "restaurant" you should bring orders simultaneously,not when it's ready, but you serve coffee 5 minutes after you bringing meal 😉

Guess what I just ate a delicious, lentil Shepherd's Pie. In a beautiful quiet courtyard. Free water, friendly people, generous serving, fresh salad and lovely house cat. Definitely five stars.

İt's an interesting place - you have to ring a bell to enter:) İt looks like an apartment - very nice and spacious. The atmosphere is that you want to stay - and nobody hurries you to go. The stuff is very friendly and welcoming. The food is simply good - healthy, good quality products. Also the price is reasonable.

Kumin Vegan deserves more than 5 stars. I went for a quick take-away and after I was greeted by the kindest staff and tried their absolutely delicious food, I decided I will go back and try everything on the menu. I also loved the sustainability awareness of bringing back the take-away glass pots and receiving 10 Turkish Lira back for each. This is a must go to!!

The place is an old classical house of Istanbul beautifully maintained and renovated, located semi- hidden in an Istanbul's picturesque neighbourhood. Great for winter as well as summer, the food is pure, elegant, the tastes are light, prices friendly enough to be accessible for every vegan food lover, owners and crew all lovely. The space is excellent for sharing time in peace, eating ,studying, having a beverage, working. I underline the last especially as I consider Kumin a great co-working space in winter or summer. Wish them the best!

Kumin Vegan Lezzetler is a must try in the area. After you ring the doorbell you can go through to a beautiful outdoor seating area in the back, it sets a great mood for your meal. The service here is among the best on the Anatolian side.

I recommend the celery soup with coconut milk & ginger, it's thick and creamy with a large portion. I don't usually order soups because I don't consider them particularly filling, but this one was incredibly filling and flavorful. The kibbeh with oyster mushroom was also a major highlight of the meal. Even the hummus offered as an appetizer was so good that I was happy to eat it by the spoonful after all the bread was gone.

Lovely cafe, friendly owners/staff, homemade food, we came for cakes in the afternoon but unfortunately they were just in the process of reopening after covid and told us it'd take at least an hour for the desserts to defrost. Tea and coffee was nice, we were very sorry we didn't order any food but we just wanted something sweet, might come back when we get the chance and try some of the food, they were so friendly and sweet and we really felt bad for not ordering any food
