Great fresh food and glutenfree is marked - Edit
Had a super delicious aubergine lasagne and a cookie today. Cute place with very friendly and good english speaking owner. Everything glutenfree is marked on the menu.

Read moreI had the falafel salad, fresh OJ and a mousse for dessert. I also took away 2x empanadas and it only cost me £21 in total. All food was great, filling and delicious.
Excellent service, so much choice and nice decor.

I found this place on happy cow and I loved it. It has an outdoor sit space and inside it has qaint little stools. I ordered the veggie burger which was made up of rice and tofu , I also order a chocolate cake and cookies. I mean it was all yummy.

Delicious Vegan Cafe - Edit
The food was absolutely delicious and there were SO many options to choose from! I had the grillado capresse and thought the house made herb bread and vegan mozarella was to die for. The kombucha was fruity and sweet. I loved my meal so much I had to get a quiche, empanada, and cookies to go! I wish I had more time in Lima to come back and try all the different desserts. Great service as well! Nice, helpful, English-friendly, and accepted cards and cash.

When we first walked in we noticed that some of the cookies in one of the cookie jars were completely mouldy so this didn't fill us with confidence from the start. When our order was taken the waiter took one of our orders then walked off to another table to take theirs which was weird. When the food finally came after a long wait mine was forgotten so the waiter had to take my order again. The food was tasty but the overall experience was a bit frustrating.

This is my favorite place in Lima. They have great desserts and good options for breakfast, lunch, dinner. My favorites are: “princesa” (sweet) and the “triple” (salty).

I had an absolutely delicious meal at La Verde! I ordered La Verde Bowl, a chicha morada kombucha, as well as a GF quinoa alfajor and an almond milk cappuccino. The food was fresh and tasty, the service was very good and the place was cute.

Read moreIt got even better when I ordered the quiche. Wow, it was served on a plate made of a wood cross section. So beautiful, I almost didnt want to eat it. When I bit in, it didnt live up to its incredible presentation, but was still good. It was made with a lot of onions and tasted very nice. The let down was that it was warmed up, but not enough, so it was only lukewarm. I would not get it again but I was not disappointed in ordering it.
Since the slice was not enough for a meal, I also ordered their special, the bao bao. And wow, the bun itself was fantastic...the best flavor and texture I've ever experienced from a bun. Unfortunately the filling was not so great. It had carrot "lox" paired with some sort of schmear. it was a brave dish. I applaud them for trying, even if it didnt turn out great.
I also ordered a cinnamon roll to go, which was a total miss bc it was stale but probably would have been great if it were heated up just a little. There were lots of other baked goodies. They mostly didnt appeal to me (I'm a donut person), and these were mostly cookies, biscottis, etc.
The three items cost me a little over 50 sol. Not bad, but prob not a place I'll go back to given that the dishes didnt land so well.
