Delicious but small portions and pricey - Edit
Most of the food we tried I loved (except for their French toast - the bread was too thick to even cut through and too dry). My favorite were frittata and avo toast - super delicious. All the portions were on a smaller side though while priced pretty high. We paid $140 for 4 meals and two drinks.

Definitely some interesting options, the standout being the Buffalo maitake and the po boy bao buns. I would definitely go back for those. The other options I tried (arancini, truffle mac n cheese, KFB) were ok. Small plates and on the pricey side.

The Mac n cheese and brussel sprouts are incredible! Must order. The KFB was a bit disappointing, but not bad. Loved the crème brûlée as well. I can’t even remember if I had ever had vegan crème brûlée before!

Great, but not blown away (in the context of NYC vegan cuisine) - Edit
~$150 including tip got us 4 entrees plus 2 bao buns apiece, which was surprisingly the correct amount of food for three people (plates are somewhat small; wish the buns were bigger especially). Got to try like half of the menu, which was nice. Everything was good, and a few things were great. Ambiance was nice. I’d eat here again, but I’m not rushing to do so like I often am with these sorts of places in the city.

Second time visiting this place and it was as great as the first one. The place is awesome and of course the food is amazing. We had the multi course family style meal, which was mind blowing. Their cocktails are also very creative and delicious.

I love this place and it has also become my go to place to take out-of-towners and non-vegans. The menu changes on a regular basis and the dishes are so flavorful. It is sharing, tapas style, which is great to try a larger selection. The fondue is pretty much a staple and I highly recommend it (especially the mushroom one).

A recent visit to this Lilliputian tapas restaurant on the LES was a pleasant surprise. The space is truly lovely and the noise level is actually tolerable (a rarity these days). But more importantly, the food is very, very good and imaginative. Nothing was greasy or overly oily. The wine list is impressive for such a small establishment.
Read moreRoom for improvement: 1) some dishes were bland (cauliflower with pomegranate seeds) while others were overly monochromatic (too much hot sauce on the Buffalo maitake buns); 2) a more even timing for delivery of dishes to the table would greatly improve the dining experience.
DISCLAIMER: I prefer a proper meal to tapas & booze for dinner. If for no other reason than it is mighty expensive to cobble together a dinner with tapas. This spot is a good value for a light meal with wine/cocktails.

It was packed on a Tuesday night, 20 min wait to get 2 seats at the bar. Mostly female crowd. The watermelon and mint cocktail was a highlight. Food is pricey and comes in small portions but is exquisite. Came here for a date and he loved it even as a non-vegan.
