Beautiful experience - Edit
I was a little intimidated to stay here because I know very little French, but my husband speaks some French, so between what he could say and google translate, we were able to converse with the friendly owners of this gorgeous chateau, which was adorned with flowers and ivy, and had a few cute cats roaming the grounds. The room was spacious, well-equipped, and the atmosphere was quaint. We ordered dinner and dined in the courtyard. Our meal included bread, a soup, a main course, wine, and the most amazing dessert! They told us a little about each course when they brought it out, and we learned that many of the dishes included vegetables fresh from the garden! The zucchini soup was delightful, the main course was flavorful and generous in size, and the dessert was so creamy and sweet, my husband said he never would have known it was vegan. Over dinner, we had the opportunity to meet an adorable French couple, who were staying there as part of their journey to reproduce the walk of Robert Lous Stevenson (we had no idea about this phenomenon but it sounded really fun!). The next morning we had a wonderful breakfast, which included a fluffy vegan croissant (vegan croissants are basically non-existent in the US) and and a delicious assortment of spreads for the bread. The only drawback was that we happened to go during an unusually extreme heat wave, so the temperature in the room we stayed in was a bit warm for our comfort (not nearly as bad as I had feared--the walls of the chateau kept it much cooler than the outside temperature), but I think this would not be a problem under normal circumstances.

Very nice week-long stay - Edit
I stayed in one of the apartments for a week with my family. The place is really nice and well located to discover the region. The hosts are very friendly. We booked dinner twice and breakfast once, the food was very good and we had nice chats with the other guests. Would really recommend, even my meat-eating family enjoyed the meals and the stay.

Calm and the nature - Edit
My wife and me had a really good time at the castle. It was peaceful and so beautiful ! We are in the moutain. You can feel the wild close to you. The village is also charming. There are a lot of things that you can do or see around and some are real close. Trails for instance or swimming in natural pools.
Read moreIn the morning you have fresh breads, fresh fruits, fresh croissants, "real" tea, home made jams, etc...
The diner (on reservation) takes place in the court (it's summer time) on a table of 8 which can lead to a very nice moment. The menu is delicious, balanced and it changes everyday . The wine is good, the beer is local and good as well, the herb tea i had was homemade.
I strongly recommend for a vegan stay to those who like forest, wild life and others beauty of nature
