Have increased vegan options - Edit
I was there for a work lunch meeting - hence no photos this time!
Read moreLooking back on previous reviews they seem to have expanded their vegan options. We had falafel sandwich with soup and samosa style parcel. Huge portions. Waitress was lovely too.

Not many breakfast options - Edit
For vegans theres only one breakfast options. Good for vegetarians but not vegans which was disappointing. Lemonade was super sour I had to add 3 sugar packets but was good.

Decent but small vegan menu - Edit
Popular for brunches, especially on the weekend, but their vegan offerings are pretty small. They do porridge, vegan breakfast, and a scrambled ackee (which is delicious). Couple of vegan offerings for lunch/dinner.
Read moreNicer vibe than the sister restaurant on Bold Street (they also have a branch over the water in West Kirkby)
Pros: Decent and healthy vegan brunches options, Generous portions
Cons: 2-3 options rather than a “menu”

great menu for a non fully vegan place - Edit
expansive menu for vg options, staff very well informed, drinks also all clearly labelled … ideal for socialising with others who won’t eat vegan

Delicious food & Interesting choices - Edit
Very impressed by our first visit to the new LEAF venue in the old hattons train shop on Smithdown.
Read moreLovely bright airy room, beautiful decor and pleasant atmosphere.
We were delighted by our Indian pancake breakfast. Its on the brunch menu (served til 3pm) as a dosa, but is nothing like that - more of an Indian spiced thicker pancake, but delicious nonetheless. There were several other vegan and vegetarian options as well, so we will definitely visit again.

Evening visit: Best seitan I've ever had in their vegan kebab, plus partner had a gorgeous vegan curry. Recommended!
Note: they are running a reduced menu due to covid-19, so less brunch options than before (for now)
Pros: Different options to anywhere else, Airy & light, Great staff
Cons: Limited options, Quite noisy
