Have decent selection of vegan options in the food and supplements section. Frozen foods include brand such as gardein, so delicious ice creams, and daiya. Vegan cheese and yogurt selections from various brands. One of the only spots locally I have found silken tofu to be sold. They have a small bulk section with options safe for vegans. Supplement section is extensive and they have many vegan options. Protein powders as well. There is a small deli/bakery area at the front which has some vegan options for takeout. Tried the vegan sausage roll recently and the flavours were good.
Location has a small parking lot out front that connects to more parking for the complex up behind the market.
The prices aren't always the lowest but if you prefer to support local over chains like Whole Foods this market is worth a stop.
Simply amazing range of organic and vegan items. Not everything is organic though so you have to pay attention. Faux meats, tofus, cheeses and loads of other vegan goodies and delights are here! Lots of beautiful produce too.
I was in heaven!
Good spot for some hard to find ingredients but almost everything is overpriced. The little cafe seating area is closed off and often there’s no one behind the counter. Lots of tasty vegan items from elsewhere like Wildlife Bakery but the made in house vegan items are not very inspiring. Very limited sales in the food section. Really makes me miss Herbs and Nutrition in Toronto.
For vegan junk/packaged foods, B12 supplements, and cosmetics, this place is a one stop shop.
They have Miyoko vegan cheese and Vegan Tooona, neither of which I have tried and to be honest, probably won't, but I'm excited that they have these on their shelves! In general they seem well stocked for vegan goods.
The produce section is not great. It can be a bit pricey. It's also not very big, so don't come here expecting to find fancy imported fruits.
This is one of the best health food markets in Canada. We recently moved from the West Coast to the East Coast but still buy all our vits and suppliments from Lifestyles. They will ship anywhere and their prices and selection are great. Knowledgable staff as well.
