Zero waste shop and coffee with a very nice owner - Edit
I had a pie with home made almond feta cheese and a cappuccino with homemade almond milk. The owner was really nice, he warmed the pie for me and it was just delicious. Also took some matcha cookies to go. Highly recommend!

Zero waste vegan essentials… and non essentials too - Edit
The beauty of the organised shelves as you enter is incredibly satisfying. The online ordering is great too. Makes you realise how much plastic is in the most products.

Sweet little pantry - Edit
There were some good-looking cakes. We tried the banana bread and the cheesecake. They were delicious. The owners were very friendly. There was a cat sitting at the table. He is a lovely old cat but needs cuddles.

Bring your own box - Edit
I would guess that the one $ is for the refill of different products, as I felt that the prepped food they sold was a bit expensive. The shop was nice and spacious, got most of the stuff you would need for everyday use. I bought a tiramisu, it was excellent but a bit pricey. I would also recommend bringing your own box since they charge for it (as they should).

Great whole foods store and lunch place - Edit
Living in Amsterdam, I always heard about this place but never visited before. But I’m so glad I did. I went for lunch and I had an absolutely delicious puff pastry and salad. Theo homemade Kombucha was also fantastic. I went on a sunny day and it was so nice sitting in their small garden. They also have a few seats indoors as well. Staff was very friendly and prices were decent.

From a non-vegan; Little Plant is good. Insert your own vocabularic superlative good. - Edit
I'm not vegan. That's my own deal. I am, however, open-minded and let my taste buds form my opinion when I eat foods that are strictly vegan rather than judging by the "vegan" designation. Little Plant is good, really, really good. It's sit down restaurant you just ate it and loved it before realizing it was vegan good. It's the quality of food that can truly change minds about eating healthier plant based meals. I could go on with very specific details about just how good it is and why. It comes down to people who prepare food with the future health of the consumer in mind and knowing that it has to be high quality, and it is both healthy and high quality, from the "Burger" to the Stir Fry, to the best damn carrot cake that I've probably ever eaten. Were I on the coast, I'd be there quite frequently.
Read morePros: Complex flavors distinguishable by the palate, High quality, Healthy, revitalizing eating experience
Cons: I should have got the last piece of carrot cake, I should got an extra order of Stir Fry, I'll have to drive to the coast more frequently

Decent, worth a go - Edit
I remember the food being somewhere between middling and good, but the people running the place are remarkably friendly and have very apparent passion for what they do. I managed to get myself a big 1/3gn tub of nice flour too, which is always a plus.

I love this place! - Edit
Amazing zero waste shop /mini cafe. The owner and staff are the nicest people. The food is incredible. We had the mung bean curry which was delicious, and the brownie (which is gluten free too) is one of the best I've ever had. If we lived in Amsterdam we would definitely be regulars.

Passed by this place planning to only drink a coffee with something sweet, but the white bean and cashew soup just sounded too delicious, and it was! The pastry was great as well. Friendly staff and dog friendly.

They were grilling seitan sandwiches outside for King's Day. The local seitan and bread were both really good. The almond chocolate bar was a royal treat.

Great vegan shop - Edit
In spite as being categorised as a restaurant, I would rather call Little Plant Pantry a vegan grocery store with a little café.
Read moreAt Little Plant Pantry, you can bring your own boxes to buy stuff like legumes, spices and nuts; or use their own paper backs. Items are purchased by weight, so you are not forced to buy more than you need.
They furthermore sells handsoaps and other items, besides from food from their café.
So go for Little Plant Pantry, if you need groceries like legumes or nuts, and/or want to enjoy a meal in their cosy café.
