Delicious snack

The front of this place is a zero-waste store, but on the end you have a bar and a table were you can enjoy the goodies they offer. I ordered a chocolat-drink and a tiramisu. Chocolat drink is just good (I like that you get extra coconut-sugar to make this drink as sweet as you want), but the tiramisu is outstanding: coffee-chocolate taste is perfectly in balans and the tiramisu-base itself is firm, but has still a creamy texture.

Outstanding food

It is mainly a store selling zero-waste bulk grains and beans etc. but they have a small food counter with superb vegan food, large portions and very filling (we took half our portions home for the next day). The selection is small but everything we got was first-class. We started with large bowls of steaming lentil soup with a well-seasoned tomato base, served with homemade seed crackers. Then I got a creamy, rich vegan lasagna topped with chopped fresh tomato, toasted pumpkin seeds and a drizzle of balsamic glaze. My partner got a fragrant mung bean curry, with a coconut milk base, served over quinoa. We also purchased an elegant round of homemade cashew cheese with herbs de Provence, a wonderful spice cooky with match tea, and some locally made buckwheat miso. They also offered delicious looking pickles and other ready made vegan products that we did not try.
This place was my highlight in Amsterdam!

Pros: Wonderful food, Large portions, Friendly owner

Cons: Slow service (owner alone on a Sunday eve)

Zero waste shop and coffee with a very nice owner

I had a pie with home made almond feta cheese and a cappuccino with homemade almond milk. The owner was really nice, he warmed the pie for me and it was just delicious. Also took some matcha cookies to go. Highly recommend!

Zero waste vegan essentials… and non essentials too

The beauty of the organised shelves as you enter is incredibly satisfying. The online ordering is great too. Makes you realise how much plastic is in the most products.

Pros: Aligns with my values , Good quality products , Home delivery

Sweet little pantry

There were some good-looking cakes. We tried the banana bread and the cheesecake. They were delicious. The owners were very friendly. There was a cat sitting at the table. He is a lovely old cat but needs cuddles.

Bring your own box

I would guess that the one $ is for the refill of different products, as I felt that the prepped food they sold was a bit expensive. The shop was nice and spacious, got most of the stuff you would need for everyday use. I bought a tiramisu, it was excellent but a bit pricey. I would also recommend bringing your own box since they charge for it (as they should).

Pros: Big variety, Nice desserts, More than just a refillery

Cons: Expensive prepared food

Great whole foods store and lunch place

Living in Amsterdam, I always heard about this place but never visited before. But I’m so glad I did. I went for lunch and I had an absolutely delicious puff pastry and salad. Theo homemade Kombucha was also fantastic. I went on a sunny day and it was so nice sitting in their small garden. They also have a few seats indoors as well. Staff was very friendly and prices were decent.

Pros: Healthy food, Lovely atmosphere, Friendly staff

From a non-vegan; Little Plant is good. Insert your own vocabularic superlative good.

I'm not vegan. That's my own deal. I am, however, open-minded and let my taste buds form my opinion when I eat foods that are strictly vegan rather than judging by the "vegan" designation. Little Plant is good, really, really good. It's sit down restaurant you just ate it and loved it before realizing it was vegan good. It's the quality of food that can truly change minds about eating healthier plant based meals. I could go on with very specific details about just how good it is and why. It comes down to people who prepare food with the future health of the consumer in mind and knowing that it has to be high quality, and it is both healthy and high quality, from the "Burger" to the Stir Fry, to the best damn carrot cake that I've probably ever eaten. Were I on the coast, I'd be there quite frequently.

Pros: Complex flavors distinguishable by the palate, High quality, Healthy, revitalizing eating experience

Cons: I should have got the last piece of carrot cake, I should got an extra order of Stir Fry, I'll have to drive to the coast more frequently

Decent, worth a go

I remember the food being somewhere between middling and good, but the people running the place are remarkably friendly and have very apparent passion for what they do. I managed to get myself a big 1/3gn tub of nice flour too, which is always a plus.

I love this place!

Amazing zero waste shop /mini cafe. The owner and staff are the nicest people. The food is incredible. We had the mung bean curry which was delicious, and the brownie (which is gluten free too) is one of the best I've ever had. If we lived in Amsterdam we would definitely be regulars.

Delicious and fresh

Passed by this place planning to only drink a coffee with something sweet, but the white bean and cashew soup just sounded too delicious, and it was! The pastry was great as well. Friendly staff and dog friendly.

Cute little shop and cafe

Came in for a small bite and espresso. The feta almond pie was delicious! They also have bulk foods and some vegan cheeses too. I’d love to come back for a full meal and maybe sample their cheeses.

Super Seitan Sandwich

They were grilling seitan sandwiches outside for King's Day. The local seitan and bread were both really good. The almond chocolate bar was a royal treat.

Pros: all vegan, low-waste, customer service

Cons: limited seating

Nice vegan spot

There are a few counter seats and then a big table for 6 people.
We had a tiramisu and then an almond/feta pie. We enjoyed both.

The staff was friendly and they were many other choices in the menu.
There were also plenty of zero-waste products, in case you need them.

Conveniently located not too far from the museum neighborhood, so that's a plus!

Pros: yummy tart, friendly staff

Great vegan shop

In spite as being categorised as a restaurant, I would rather call Little Plant Pantry a vegan grocery store with a little café.
At Little Plant Pantry, you can bring your own boxes to buy stuff like legumes, spices and nuts; or use their own paper backs. Items are purchased by weight, so you are not forced to buy more than you need.
They furthermore sells handsoaps and other items, besides from food from their café.

So go for Little Plant Pantry, if you need groceries like legumes or nuts, and/or want to enjoy a meal in their cosy café.

Talented Chef- amazing food

The food was incredible!! We ordered 3 of the home made cakes and the hot chocolate with home made almond milk. It was delicious. Great idea to have an organic ecofriendly shop that you can also sit in to eat. The couple that run it are lovely. They were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Lovely little store

We just stopped in to Little Plant Pantry when we had a bit of free time around our busy schedule and it was definitely worth it! Wish we'd gone for a meal as everything smelt wonderful!

I had a Tiramisu and an espresso, with the tiramisu being super creamy and delicious and the espresso being strong and nice!

The staff were also absolutely lovely, so hope to visit again at some point!

Adorable

Really cute shop and mini cafe. The interior is super cozy.

Try the empanadas! They are delicious. The house made almond milk also has such a pleasant flavour. We also tried the lemon cheesecake which had an amazing texture for a raw dessert, very fluffy filling.

Zero waste dry goods as well, they have a shelf of recycled jars for people to use! Super clever.

A cute orange cat was patrolling the shop while we were there. The human staff were very friendly too.

Pros: Empanadas plus hot food menu, Various treats and drinks

Clever zero waste store with yummy desserts

Rich chocolatey warm brownie, creamy tiramisu and great variety of food.
The tiramisu is not quite like a traditional tiramisu, yet absolutely creamy and delicious!
Staff is funny and very friendly!
Great experience, I would go again if I could!
