Read moreI have never had hot pot in Germany before. This is definitely not like Mala. There are different vegan soup options. You order from a tablet.
The one I ordered was tomato base and mushroom base. It looked incredible, taste was lacking flavours. I added more salt and chili from the buffet.
Mushroom base was better than the other, but tasted just like dried shiitake in hot water.
Loved the jujube and tofu skin because I haven’t seen it before in Germany.
Love that you get fruits from the buffet all you can eat for only 3€
Added extra veg and tofu was a lot!

On the negative part
Lotus seemed rather old than fresh
Be aware: people can order a lot of different meat here - so walking to your table or to the washrooms you can see thinly sliced meat and I just saw they sell also brains…
Area is so scary close to the central station, wouldn’t go here during night time at all.

I loved this place! They have clearly labelled vegan broth and Tons of different things to add. I had a pot with two different broths, tomato and mushroom, and both were delicious. You can choose between a big broth pot to share with your group or small pots where each person gets their own pot. This is perfect If you go with non vegan people, so no cross-contamination. There are a lot of vegan ingredients you can Order, so many veggies, different Tofu, Noodle, ricecake,... I really recommend the Mixed mushroom plate, delicious. The Tofu skin was also great. Loved everything!
