Really great! - Edit
Very good experience having dinner here! Everything I tried was amazing, and our server was really nice. My favorite dish was the Crystal Balls which are fried taro balls surrounded by crispy rice.

Lovely Meal - Edit
Really really good Vietnamese and fusion! Found this place because we were on a road trip - it was just on the way to the next destination. But we will be back one day! Amazing service, everything we had was delicious. Fair prices. Owner greeted us and has a great conversation.

FANTASTIC MENU - Edit
I've loved this place since childhood, when they were traditional vietnamese. I'm still not vegetarian but LOVE the new fully vegan menu under the new ownership. So many creative Asian dishes and items you can't find many other places (like the banana blossom salad).

So delicious - Edit
There were so many options and everything we got was so delicious! It was so good that we started eating things before getting some pictures to share here. Some standouts were the tofu fried rice, the Wings, and the pani puri. Can't wait to go back and try more.

Absolute gem - Edit
Authentic plant-based Vietnamese and Chinese food. So many quality selections. Very kind and helpful service to say the least. I had the mushroom pani puri as a starter and the house of noodle for my main dish. I hope to return many times.

I literally just joined Happy Cow to give this place the review it deserves, but there’s no way I can do it justice (you’ll just have to go there for yourself) - Edit
My friend and I were passing through the area, looking for a place to eat, and wow did we make a good choice!
Read moreLuong-Loi apparently just changed owners and reopened less than two weeks ago and let’s just cut to the chase: this place will blow your mind.
The menu is extensive, gorgeous, and all-vegan*. We wanted to order literally everything, but unfortunately life involves making tough choices so we ended up getting seven things and splitting most of them. This is a good time to mention the absolutely top-notch service. The restaurant was not particularly busy when we went and the owner happily guided us through the menu and spent some time talking with us, while our server gladly accommodated our request to split the various dishes so we could try more things.
All the food we ordered was sublime. We started with the pani puri (a fresh twist on the Indian street food), then shared a banana blossom salad, the saté pho, and the House of Noodle. The salad was delicately flavored and refreshing, the pho well-balanced and varied, and we loved the marinated tofu-skin “ribs” in the House of Noodle. The mushroom-based fillings (pani puri; spring rolls from the noodle dish) are a major highlight: complex and lots of umami. We also ordered Vietnamese tea and almond cookies for dessert, and bahn-mi’s to go. (*We didn’t totally clarify whether the half-and-half option for the tea was dairy, but it sounded like it could be, so you should check just to make sure; we got it with oat milk though.)
Highest recommendation, and for a restaurant that just (re-)opened, I couldn’t be more impressed. Great food, great atmosphere, great service, only thing I could want is for it to be closer to home!

Delightful - Edit
Friendly and welcoming vegan restaurant with a good sized menu. Our food was delicious. I would agree that they are experiencing some growing pains under their new ownership. All of our appetizers and entrees were delivered at different times for our party of three. The vegan ribs are tasty. I am looking forward to returning to try more items from the menu.

Great food! - Edit
Went there for the first time last night. We are so happy to have a vegan restaurant in Wheaton! The food was delicious and the service very friendly and kind. Some growing pains as they are only one week into their new ownership and vegan menu. They were out of egg rolls and bahn mi. But we will be back for those!

Great vegan dishes in Wheaton! - Edit
This restaurant switched their menu from meat to vegan! Really nice, because we badly needed more vegan options in Wheaton. We went there today and had bahn mi sandwiches and a spring roll dish. All the food was really delicious. Sorry, forgot to take photos, but we ate everything, when we usually take home leftovers, so that speaks for itself.

Fresh flavors, homemade, extensive menu - Edit
Luong-Loi’s new all vegan menu offers creative plant-based renditions of classic Vietnamese dishes. The herbal pho broth made with apples, corn, and veggies is outstanding. Their homemade tofu and fried tofu skin in the pho were tasty and added great texture. The banana blossom salad is nutty, refreshing, and delicious. The chef’s fried rice with lotus seeds and shitake mushrooms was delightfully smokey. The house rolls were fresh and flavorful. We can’t wait to try more of their dishes! The waitstaff wete incredibly welcoming and helpful. They answered all of our questions.

Wonderful Vegan Vietnamese restaurant - Edit
They have an extensive menu of traditional Vietnamese dishes made with a variety of plant based proteins, like mushrooms, tofu and seitan. I hope to work my way through their menu over time. I would like to support them by encouraging anyone who wants a great vegan meal to stop by and bring as many friends as you can.
