Ok - Edit
Pretty excited to see a Vegan Thai restaurant so had to try it out. Such great reviews but for me and my party we thought it was ok. Pricey, small portions. We had the Mama Oat which was supposed to be spicy but could have been more fiery. The noodles were literally the instant ‘mama’ noodles so were quite disappointed to be served this. Also ordered the Nam tock with tofu and couldn’t quite describe the soup base. We also shared the aubergine dish with Holy Basil but couldn’t taste the Basil at all. I really wanted to like and enjoy this place but it just didn’t do it for us I’m afraid.

Yum, fab food and lovely staff - Edit
Came here for dinner on a Friday night, loved that it was tucked away in a great little spot. Food was delicious - stand outs were the yellow curry noodles and chive cakes. We also had a few of the ice teas, favourites were the Mango ice tea and Roselle ice tea. Rounded off the evening with some mango desert (with sweet sticky rice). Great vibes, yummy food, lovely people.

Lovely Thai close to the Natural History Museum - Edit
We visited for a birthday lunch and it was spot on. Fresh, tasty and not too heavy, the food was delicious and the location is pretty cool too.
Read moreThe fake calamari was the pick of the starters, but the mains were inseparable. All of them were amazing in their own right, packed full of flavour and well spiced (we don’t mind a bit of spice, but it wasn’t too much at all).
Would fully recommend coming here if you love Thai food.
The only downside was the jasmine tea, which was a teabag and not that tasty.
We had:
Dumplings (Gyo Grob Luk Sa Pai)
Spring roll (Por Pia Krob)
Salad (Som Tum Thai)
Calamari (Pla Muek Tip Yang)
Vegan chicken green curry (Gaeng Keow Waan)
Aubergine stir fry (Pad Ma Khia Muang)
Pad Thai
Vegetable and tofu stir fry (Pad Pak Ruam)
Kluai Buad Chee
Pros: Attentive staff, Tasty Thai food, Nice location
Cons: Jasmine tea

Delicious food - Edit
One can't really see the restaurant from the street, there's a narrow entrance alley, with a small outdoor seating area in front, then the restaurant, divided into 3 seperate rooms. It did feel a bit 'enclosed' inside, with only the front room having a window.
Read moreLoved the food. Didn't have to wait long.
We had
Appetizers:
- deep fried dumplings £8.50
- mushroom and tofu skewers £8
Mains:
- vegan 'cod stir fry £15.50
- crispy 'pork' stir fry £13.50
With jasmin rice £3.25
And sticky rice £3.75
Service was friendly, bit reserved.
Toilets upstairs. Lovely decorated (liked the traditional wood locks). Dryer to dry ones hands.
Didnt see an accessible toilet.
They automatically add a service charge of 12,50% to the bill...
Which in total, does make it fairly expensive.

Simply the best Thai in London - Edit
Vegan or not, this place has the best Thai food. I’d know because I’m married to one and he says so.
Read moreThis is my go to vegan comfort food and I’ve tried almost every dish. My recommendation is to go for the “fish” dishes or the “beef” fried rice. But whatever you choose it is amazing.

Awesome food and to appease 2 vegans with a carnivore, they allowed our friend to get something from elsewhere and sit in the terrace with us (don't quote me on this)

Everything Delicious - Edit
Every option we had was delicious! Tom Yam Soup, Chu Chee Pla Tip Tod, and Pad Kee Mao (spicy) were very tasty. The sticky mango rice is also a yummy dessert. Service was very fast and it got busy quick, so reserving a table is recommended. The only downside are rather small portions.

Delicious Vegan Thai Food - Edit
Mali Vegan Thai offers delicious, authentic Thai food with a 100% vegan menu. Highlights for me were the classic pad Thai and colour-changing butterfly pea iced tea. I also have to point out that the service was incredibly fast without compromising on freshness, flavour or temperature.
Read moreI have to admit, it's completely overwhelming to visit a fully vegan restaurant rather than having to decide between 1 or 2 options and you really do feel spoilt for choice. Mali is a must-visit for vegans and meat-eaters alike in the area.

This place was an accidental, lucky find. It’s so cute and the staff were welcoming, attentive and kind. Loved the food (tofu/veg stir fry, deep fried dumplings) and would go again and recommend to anyone in that neighborhood.

I've just moved to London after 9 years of living in Bangkok. I was excited to try Mali Vegan, and it did not disappoint. Great authentic flavours and a good amount of spice, which I've been missing. Although, obviously, in London prices, the rice could be cheaper or a larger portion provided. Staff were nice, food was quick. I'd definitely come back when craving proper Thai food, lovely place to bring family and friends.

Delicious vegan Thai food! Went with a friend and we shared the summer rolls, vegan cod with morning glory, and fried rice with vegan beef; my favourite was the summer rolls. We also had the Thai milk coffee, which was really good. Amazing flavours, lovely food, and beautiful restaurant (also liked that the vegan ‘meats’ didn’t feel overly processed or hyper-realistic — tastes and textures both very good). Will definitely be coming back!

Nice spot - Edit
I enjoyed the place and the food. I would say that the food came out so fast it seems that it must have been at least partially pre-prepared which I would not have expected at a place like this.

Great Thai Restaurant - Edit
Went here for dinner and everything was great. We got the mushroom & tofu skewers and the crispy spring rolls as starters. Then pad kee mao (drunken noodles with vegan duck) and pad si ew (stir fried rice noodles with vegan beef) for the mains. For dessert we had the golden mango ice cream with sticky rice. Drinks we had the Thai iced milk tea. Everything was spot on. Lovely dinner.

Delicious vegan food, my non-veg parents loved it - Edit
Everything is vegan! Ordered the Thai iced milk tea which was delicious and the kao soi noodles. It was spicy but enough for me to handle with my terrible spice tolerance. Everything was authentically made and prepared & tasted excellent.
