.. but it was delicious. I'm basically talking about what everyone below me was eating too and it is a great breakfast option and also works as a snack during the day. The filling was so creamy and delicious. We loved it.

Great snack on the go - Edit
We had the basic croissant and the vanilla custard croissant. Both were great, would definitely visit again as a quick Italian breakfast with a coffee. The location can be found on the metro level of the train station. It's close to the toilets.

If you haven't tried the typical pastry form Puglia (pasticciotto) yet, you are definitely missing out. And in Rome you can find it vegan! As well as classic and cream croissant, also vegan. Martinucci is one of oldest pasticceria in puglia and definitely worth it

Had a good Italian style croissant. Nothing special, not worth any detour, but solid taste. Nothing else was on offer when I arrived even though they had ads for something else. Staff is knowledgeable and will point out vegan options.

💰: €unsure
💭: this is probably the best croissant out of all the ones I have had in Italy so far. This one wasn’t plain like the rest or didn’t have a lemon zest flavour. Instead it was sweet.
🤷🏽♀️: Order again? Yes
📝: this was very hard to find so I am going to try to update the information part on Happy Cow. It is located on the bottom floor of the East staircase.

I had a delicious cream filled pastry with a shortbread crust that was so different and unique from other vegan pastries I had since visiting Italy. Also a vegan chocolate filled cornetto which was delicious. Definitely worth going for that pastries alone. Had other vegan options like jam filled cookies and plain cornetto which I didn’t get. Everything is clearly marked and they have brochures at the counter with their vegan offerings. You can find this spot by going one floor under the main station. Best I’ve had at any train station in Rome.
