They have a separate vegan fryer for starters(wooohooo!!!). The staff are insanely nice people. The food is totally delicious, and the portions are generous. Go support this amazing spot!

Stopped by here recently and it's so nice that everything on their menu is labeled! I will say that ordering a combo (we saw the option online) was VERY confusing, and you only get one of the canned drinks out of it so ultimately not really worth it, it's basically the same price either way. The person at the register tried to ring up everything separately, too, so it just was kind of a mess. Next time I'll just skip that step.
Read moreThe falafel pita comes in one of those 9" clamshell containers and takes up the whole thing! Side of fries I dumped into the lid of the clamshell and it also took up the whole thing. Massive portions, super filling, and super good!

Kindness is an understatement in relation to the owners and employees here! They are completely flexible, accommodating, and understanding in substitutions for vegan dishes.

New place just opened up on Monroe. Counter service; can eat in or take out. Ambitious new venture with a enthusiastic owner.
Read moreSeveral different vegan falafels (regular, spicy, sesame) … tried them all and all were excellent. Good selection of other things as well; the usuals like hummus, baba, stuffed grape leaves, tabbouleh (all great - get the sampler). Stuffed pitas as well as some more inventive options, like the “Rochester plate” which seems to be a sort of falafel based garbage plate lol.
Most of the menu is vegan, and vegan choices are clearly identified.
