Love it! - Edit
Our go-to place in Hannover! Cozy, has breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks, several vegan options, cheap prices and delicious food. Also: it is quite central and close to central station. The only downside is that it can be hard to get a table as the place is quite popular.

Im Mezzo waren wir schon sehr oft - es gibt immer vegane Optionen, oft auch saisonale Angebote. Bisher war alles gut bis sehr lecker. Die Eintöpfe kann ich nur empfehlen. 😀 Der Service ist ab und an etwas gestresst, es ist aber auch immer viel los. Die Lage ist sehr zentral und die Preise sind mMn super in Ordnung.

Prima Lokal/Restaurant/Cafe/Bar mit immer wieder neuen (auch veganen) Optionen auf der Karte. Das Essen war immer prima, könnte m. M. n. etwas würziger sein. Der vegane Apfelkuchen war ebenfalls gut.

The food is pretty good and the cafe is pretty nice. They have nice outside seats during summertime. They offer a vegan breakfast and various other vegan meals. There is an extra area for vegan dishes on the menue, so clearly labelled. Also vegan cake options.

it only ever happened once that i didn't like what i had.
food is well seasoned and sometimes surprising😄prices are reasonable.
great drinks too! service is always pleasent.

Very nice, friendly and competent stuff. Many vegan options and they have a every month a special menu with new vegan dishes/options. You can open the menu with QR-Code or you can order the traditional paper menu. Outside is very nice and cozy.

Can’t believe I’ve not got round to reviewing this excellent local hangout. After first stumbling into Mezzo for a late night Schneider Weisse in 2006 we discovered some seriously good vegan options on the menu such as a chunky roast vegetable lasagne and an Asian style tofu wok stir fry with noodles. This quickly became an essential place to go on subsequent visits to the city, usually when the vegan & vegetarian places might have already closed for the evening. Informal, relaxed, music friendly with an open kitchen delivering excellent well prepared food. This is a place that embraced veganism years before the current revolution. I’d love to go back now they have a separate vegan menu.

Gute Atmosphäre und immer einen Besuch wert. Es gibt eine gesonderte Karte mit allen veganen Gerichten. Auch auf der Wochenkarte sind vegane Optionen markiert. Das vegane Frühstück kann ich auch nur empfehlen! Es ist häufig recht voll, aber ich habe bisher immer einen Platz gefunden. Serviert auch Fleischgerichte.

Friendly & competent staff. Food is good. Not too much vegan stuff but clearly labelled. Lentil stew is gartic-free and tasty. Apple pie excellent, not the one type you get everywhere as 'the' vegan token dessert. Good vegan brownie, too; also, "open" sparkling water in carafe. 5 mins walk from "back" side of central train station. Crowded at times but plenty of seats inside and some outside.
