Read moreComing from California, I’ve been spoiled with my choices for delicious vegan food. Who would have thought Texas would be able to deliver something, not just on par, but exceeding vegan Cali standards. I ordered the BBQ brisket plate and let me tell you, I was blown away. The brisket was smoky, flavorful, and had that meaty texture down to perfection. I never would have guessed it was mushroom! The sides of coleslaw and mac n’ cheese were equally delicious. Of course, vegan cheese still has a little way to go before it’s able to fool dairy lovers, but it the side dish still was ooey, gooey, and went perfectly with that smoky brisket. The owner was super nice as well and gave me a vegan chocolate chip cookie and some of the creamiest vegan vanilla soft serve you can find. All in all, Mission Burger Co. is a solid 5 stars.

Read moreArielle was amazing! Helped me choose what to order and also let me try a little of the brisket (which was divine) and a little of the mac and cheese (delicious) I went for the Mission Burger and thoroughly enjoyed it!
Also got to chat all things vegan with Arielle who gave me some great recommendations for other places back in London I hadn't heard of. I really appreciated her taking the time to speak with me!
Highly recommended!

The owner was incredibly welcoming when I came in, and he gave me a free vegan cookie! He gave me some great recommendations. I decided on the breakfast burrito, and it certainly did not disappoint! It was extremely filling and packed filled with flavor.

These burgers are amazing. I’ve had the steakhouse one with the blue cheese and it’s dope. I also recently had the Turkey’s Revenge and it was Thanksgiving on a bun. The prices are high but you get big portions.

That was some proper Texas bbq. We got the chicken bacon ranch sandwich and the bbq brisket Mac and cheese. Both were phenomenal the brisket tasted so realistic, and Mac and cheese was nice and creamy. Also got a chocolate chip cookie which was great. AND they’re completely peanut and nut free!!!

We’ve visited quite a few vegan places in Texas and Mission Burger Co is easily if of the best vegan places we’ve tried, rivaling Portland Vegan BBQ… the brisket burger was phenomenal. The Mac and cheese amazing. The coleslaw tasted just like the Cane’s coleslaw I used to get. You won’t be disappointed.

I loved the service I received at this establishment. We were greeted with a cookie and a smiling face ready to assist. They have a great system in place that is simple. They have very good burgers and hot and crispy fries. I had the garlic fries and they were good. The brisket burger was very flavorful and had a nice smokey flavor.

Before I visited Austin I wanted to find some authentic vegan BBQ. The brisket here gave me the opportunity to do that. I will be dreaming about the burger I had here with brisket on it until I make it back next year! The free cookie was a nice touch too.

Outstanding birria, I wish I could have had more.
But the brisket. The brisket made my eyes well up with tears. It sparked emotions like holding a puppy. Each bite of that sandwich brought me closer to enlightenment. I will think about that brisket for the rest of my life.

Ariel was so sweet and helpful, giving us great recommendations. I had the breakfast burger and my husband had the Caballero burger, both were delicious. Don't leave without trying the garlic fries! We will definitely be making a return visit on our next trip to Austin.
