I was so excited to find another veggie place in lau pa sat. But this was so disappointing. The food didn’t cone out like the picture and was only warmed though. The noodles were starchy and clumped together. The basil leaves has only been half washed and still had dirt on. I hate to leave a negative review but I will not be returning or recommending.

It took me quite a while to find Moon Chay as it’s tucked away in a corner of the second floor of a multi-storey building packed with little eateries. Keep searching for it - it’s worth navigating the maze to find! The place was super busy as I went on a Friday night so service was a little slow. However the food was good value and super tasty. I had the broken rice with ‘beef’ and some deep fried tofu.

The only thing I found a bit confusing was that some dishes were explicitly labeled as vegan while others were not. I asked about it and was assured that everything was vegan.

Nice place to sit and people watch down below but food is pretty bland and average. They got our order wrong twice. We had the spring roll noodle bowl which was okay. Not a lot of flavour but it was edible. We then ordered the sticky rice but instead were bought the mushroom mix on the big cracker which was mainly corn filling and a vague curry flavour. Iced coffee was warm and watery. Not what I expected when I ordered a Vietnamese iced coffee. Not particularly cheap for the quality of food we received.

This was just a short 5 minute walk from our hotel, so we went 4 times during our Singapore stay. The food was great and the service friendly. The banh mis were awesome and the sides delicious. Prices were more than reasonable.

Allium-free eatery serving authentic Vietnamese food! Fully vegan by default, but coffee may be served with real dairy upon request, so do remember to specify you want vegan non-dairy milk. Menu is quite interesting, with a variety of items including dishes not typically seen in Singapore, such as Premium Stone Bowl Rice, Broken Rice with Vegan Ribs and Pork Patties, as well as Banana Braised with Tofu. Pretty design with lanterns. Quite popular and tables are quite snugly packed so the space may be a little cramped. Located within Fortune Centre, few minutes' walk from Bencoolen MRT or Bugis MRT.

I loved being there. Huge menu, kind service, great food. They call it vegetarian but it is also vegan (often in Asia they say vegetarian despite it's actually vegan). For me it is authentic asian, I love those dishes with mushrooms and the variations they do with them. So creative and tasty!

We tried the moon chay rolls, crab noodles, and broken rice with ribs. The rolls were okay, but lacked in flavour. The broken rice dish was underwhelming. It had nice parts but they did not fit well together. The crab noodles were the best and quite tasty. The ginger tea came with a tea bag and the lemon tea tasted ordinary. I guess there are better options than we had!

Delicious vegan Vietnamese restaurant in the ever vegan Fortune centre. Moon Chay amazingly opened early enough for an unconventional breakfas! Staff were amazingly friendly and don’t be concerned by the menu. They state pork beef chicken etc but it is all vegan. It’s amazing! I had the delicious Lions Mane Rice bowl.
