Amazing small B&B in the French countryside - Edit
Samantha and Zoran are the perfect hosts with a wonderful little B&B tucked away in the French countryside. Upon booking my stay I was presented with options to add an evening meal and daily picnic which I took advantage of (knowing it may be difficult to eat vegan - this was now covered and I did not have to worry about where I was going to eat).
Read moreFirstly - the hosts and food: Perfect! Advice on where to go, what to do, what to see. Wonderful home cooked evening meal around the family table. Wine, water, juice, beer, tea and coffee available. Amazing and plentiful daily picnic to eat at your leisure when exploring. Great chat, no pressure - a very chilled and relaxed environment. Breakfast at a time of your choosing with a wide variety on offer (home made cheeses, jams, homemade butter, delicious homemade breads) - and - delicious vegan and gluten free croissants (at first I was dubious but after trying them I was kicking myself not diving in on the first day).
Secondly - the room: I stayed in the garden room. This was larger than expected with a double bed, plenty of pillows, small seating area, tea and coffee making facilities, wardrobe and some day beds for lounging. Attached is a large and separate private bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. A fan was provided which was welcomed in the hot August heat. The bed was really comfy and provided a good nights sleep. Everything was really clean. It was quiet. I didn’t take advantage of the swimming pool - but heard good things from the other guests (not too cold!).
Finally - if you get the chance, go! You will be made welcome, you will enjoy the varied foods on offer, you will get to borrow ideas and get a fresh perspective (for me at least) on vegan cooking — and it is a great base to explore the history and museums in the surrounding areas.
Thank you for having me!
Pros: The hosts, The food, The location and value

Warm people, great stay - Edit
Despite our last minute request, Sam and Zoran welcomed us warmly with a great 3 course vegan meal. We had some great conversations together. The garden suite was nice and cozy and there was also a good place to sleep for our dog on the couch next to the heater. Would definitely come back if we get the chance!

Great vegan, gluten free B&B - Edit
This gluten free, vegan B&B is more than just a bed and breakfast. We had a room with a huge bed, the room is also big and cosey. Sam and Zoran are very Nice people who run this place. You can have only breakfast but also Sam will cook you a marvelous dinner or make you a lovely lunch. A stay here is heaven on earth, in a small French town. 💚💚💚

Lovely B&B - Edit
Stayed here two nights with the family. The booking process and contact about dinner was smooth. Rooms are very nice, hosts are awesome people, food is great. Nice conversations, plenty of relaxation options (in the room, in the seating area with games and books, in the garden) and situated in a quiet and beautiful area for walking. Taking good care of allergies and all at a good price. Lovely place!

A great stay in the Ardennes - Edit
I stayed here for 5 nights. Samantha and Zoran are warm, welcoming and interesting people. The area is peaceful, calm and beautiful. The room I stayed in was very clean and comfortable. The food was fabulous, so many different flavours and everything is 100% vegan and gluten-free! The carrot cake cupcakes are to die for. I definitely recommend a visit here if you are in the area…or a trip to the area to visit here!

Wish I could stay - Edit
I stayed overnight on my way to the South of France. Samantha and Zoran were super welcoming, which made this a great start of my journey. The food is absolutely amazing. I'd go here just to have dinner, if it wasn't so far away ;). I'm looking forward to breakfast already! The room and the garden were great as well.

Pearl in the French countryside - Edit
Samantha and Zoran gave us a warm welcome and were great hosts during our one-week stay in the holiday home (gite). The gite was comfortable, clean, plenty of light, had large rooms, and nice views of the grounds, the fields beyond, and the village town hall. The fenced-off garden surrounding the gite offered a safe play area for our dogs while we could sit and enjoy the afternoon sun.

We’ll certainly be coming back and we highly recommend this B&B.
Pros: Delicious food, Friendly hosts, Peaceful and spacious location

Wonderful - Edit
What a lovely little paradise here. A sweet couple running a beautiful B&B with great cooking. This dutch couple build their little palace with their own hands, it’s really impressive. Definitely a great place to stay and have a good rest.

A Gem - Edit
This vegan, gluten free B n B is fantastic. Sam & Zoran are extremely helpful and keen to provide the most perfect room and food.
Read moreWe have stayed twice. Once in the guest house and once in a lovely downstairs room in the main house. Both are highly recommended. Lovely linen, coffee, tea and fruit provided.
We also had dinner, breakfast and a picnic lunch. Each meal was perfect and there was plenty. Sam & Zonan freshly prepare every meal often using veg from there own garden
Homemade bread, yogurt and cakes etc.
If you traveling in north eastern France it is a great place to stay and enjoy wonderful vegan food.
