Delicious! I went with a vegetarian, 2 carnivores and myself. The table consensus is that the shrimp po boy was their favorite and was shockingly similar to shrimp. I rather enjoyed the chicken sandwich. The fries were crispy and seasoned perfectly. Staff was exceedingly accommodating and friendly, answering all of our questions as first time guests They were out of the wings so they must be good and we're planning to return to get those next time as well. No pictures as we housed our food as soon as we got it.

I stopped here for lunch and absolutely loved the food. I had the combo with the buffalo chicken sandwich, wings and fried pickles. It was all delicious. I can’t wait to come back and try their poboy sandwich.

I’ve been wanting to come here for a long time but I live in Ponte Vedra Beach pretty far away…so glad I had to work near here today it is amazing food and the staff are way friendly. I will be coming back a lot…it is worth the drive.

You Should Know - Edit
My wife and I had dinner there tonight. The menu is fully Vegan, with creative handhelds and homemade fry’s. The staff were delightful. The buns on the burgers my wife and I had store-bought white flour buns, the ketchup’s second ingredient was high fructose corn syrup. The beverages were filtered water or canned pop. The fry’s were excellent and the burger patties were tasty. Many vegans like us search out restaurants that use fresh ingredients, are sensitive to healthy ingredients and for them this would not be a good choice. The restaurant itself was dark, had worn painted concrete floors, a mostly empty floor with some very old tables and chairs with padding so worn you hit the support bars when you sat in them. The inside all but totally lacked any effort at interior design. To be fare it seemed there intended audience was carry out service. The staff said there was a new owner who was going to make changes to the menu. One can only hope he changes a lot more than the menu. ThT is the least of there problems, in fact that probably their most positive attribute. Thee cost of the 2 burgers and 2 beverages was $40. We wish them the best. Lee and Roxanne.

This is a fully-vegan restaurant which makes ordering easy. You don't need to worry about asking for substitutions like you would at a mixed-diet restaurant. Staff are also very friendly and helpful.

I asked for the house burger patty on my Smokestack burger combo and I have no regrets about choosing it over their regular meat-substitute option (which I believe was Impossible or Beyond). Their wings are great, too, probably the best vegan wings I've had in a restaurant. They're even served on bamboo chute "bones" for authenticity. The cookies were great as well, a little chewy but a little crispy at the same time.
We arrived when there were few customers and I'm not sure if that was a factor, but we got our food really, really quickly. I was very impressed. The overall atmosphere was very inviting and given they have so many great-looking options for dinner and dessert, I hope to return soon.

I love these zero frills, hole in the wall spots. The less a graphic designer has had anything to do with menu, the better it’s going to be. My burger (the Scorcher) had a really nice char on it and the fries were piping hot.

My husband and I are visiting the area and we found this place listed on Happy Cow. We were so surprised and pleased with everything down to the absolute welcoming customer service and mouth watering food. We live about 2.5 hours away but WILL come back to eat here.

We stopped here on our way through Jacksonville and are so glad we did. We ordered the "wings" with Carolina Gold Bar-B-Q sauce and the "shrimp" basket. Both of us got the slaw. Everything was AMAZING! The "wings" have an edible sugar cane stick and had a wonderful smoky char on them. My husband's "shrimp" we're almost too close to the real thing. You might honestly think you're not at a 100% vegan place. We got the "bacon cheddar" and "chicken" biscuit to go For breakfast the next morning. We will definitely be back if in the area again! 🤤

Went here around four days ago, with a few others. A go up, order, pay and food is brought out type of place, located in the middle of Murry Hill with vegan food and some vegetarian* drinks (unorganic sugar can be refined using bone char, most sodas are not organic).
Read moreI didn't get to talk to them much, but the employees seemed friendly and to be enjoying themselves while working. Which was part of creating a relaxing/casual atmosphere. Like it's a chill time for all there.
I had high expectations for the mac and cheeze and chickun fries, but they were very disappointing. Mac tasted like something I made at home (I suck at cooking.), and the chickun mostly tasted like neutral oil. Shrimp was decent and same for the sauce that came with. Found the wings okay, but I never really liked wings. Family did however, with the leftovers not lasting a day. The biscuit was damn good. Reminded me of the sausage sandwich that I used to get at starbucks nearly everyday for two years, before the event.
The bacun’ater burger I had was great. I don't know what they do exactly, but it's magical. The sauces and however they spice it, makes me wonder how mere mortals may ever share this euphoria even once in their lifetime. Family allowed me to have some of the fries that came with their burgers, they were fresh, well seasoned and mozzarella'd to an almost overwhelming degree.
The front has a celebration of the colors of the rainbow flag. Which is good, because rainbows are neat. The inside is overall nice. With decent seating, a hook and ring game that you won't win, interesting and fun stickers on the poles, and warm lighting. But the ceiling looks like you're walking through a construction site, and the floor at least when wet, is a little sticky. I don't believe that is the owner's choice however, as it seems extremely expensive to remodel either of those. So it can't really be held against them, and I hope they'll be able to freshen up both one day.
