Delicious vegan food - Edit
Fully vegan Thai restaurant with an extensive menu. Food was so so good-I got a tofu curry and bubble tea. I went with a couple of friends who were very hesitant about the prospect of no meat (ie: complaining the entire way there because how could a meal possibly taste good without meat?) but by the end of the meal they were raving about how good it was and even came back themselves a couple of days later (that’s how good it was). Staff really friendly, lovely little restaurant.

Tons of options - Edit
I only got a Thai tea, which was the best one I've ever had and the tow-hop tod #6 appetizer which was pretty good itself but I will definitely stop in again if I'm in the area.

Best Thai/East Asian food ever - Edit
I went back in 2021, it was just as amazing as it always was. Affordable and high quality vegan food, and everything is fresh. The boba is great too. Probably my favorite restaurant I have ever been to, highly recommend.

Lunch special was great - Edit
I got the mango curry lunch special with tofu which came with soup and two dumplings (or you could choose to have one spring roll), and I also got a Thai tea boba to go. The service was very fast and friendly and everything tasted great. I would love to come back to try their vegan chicken, beef, and shrimp options when I’m in town again. 10/10!

Great options and good flavors - Edit
This was a fun restaurant. I definitely enjoyed my meal. The food is creative and tasty. The seitan and tofu and tempeh are used masterfully. The flavors were good if this was not so close to Chinatown I’d say great but it’s really a nice option to have for good Chinese and Thai food.
Read moreThe birds nest was so tasty and the dumplings were delicious. The lo mein was average and the miso soup was good. Definitely try the birds nest for the edible bowl it’s served in! Very unique and very tasty.

Food was amazing with obviously freshly made noodles and flavorful sauces. All menu items were vegan, but if you bring people who aren't vegan here, they will still love the food!

Belly Full from their Vegan Menu!!! - Edit
Amazing restaurant!!! I love the apps and the main course meals (pad ke mao and the garlic tofu). If I lived any closer I would be back at this place on a weekly basis. Also they serve vegan bubble tea, which was truly amazing. I highly recommend for vegans/plant-based food lovers to come by and have a meal at this place!!!

My wife and I ate here 25 years ago and were happy was still here to bring our kids. They loved it. Everything we had was delicious. We tried the shrimp fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, Vietnamese style noodles, one of the tofu specialties, the fried dumplings and the tofu cigars. All excellent also boba was very good, both the taro and mango.

So much variety - Edit
The menu is so extensive that it is actually overwhelming. There are many different types of noodles, sauces, faux meats... Really difficult to make a decision! I ordered the curry vermicelli plus and it was a great choice. The noodles were thin but not too thin, and the sauce was amazing! Creamy, rich, and very flavorful. All the "plus" dishes have a combination of different meats, which was perfect because I wanted to try as many as I could. They were all really good, but the highlight for me was the shrimp. It was probably the first time I ever had vegan shrimp and it was delicious! The taste and the consistency were quite impressive. The portion was big so I was completely satisfied, and the price was fair. So I'd definitely recommend a visit, just be aware that the restaurant is not the prettiest, as other reviews have already described.

Huge menu with lots of great flavors - Edit
I've been here several times now, and I will keep coming back. The menu is huge, which actually makes it hard to decide (especially when I'm used to choosing from just a few vegan options). I recently tried the mango curry, and it was fantastic. The meal came with a small cup of sweet and sour soup, which had tofu, tomatoes, and mushrooms. The curry also had tofu, so I felt like I got a lot of the same textures, but the curry flavors were really nice. In my party of four, we each got a nice big lunch for under $100 total. Next time I want to try the vegan boba teas, since so many other places have dairy in the boba powder mixes. The one negative I can think of about this place is the entrance to the restaurant requires you to walk through a dirty and fairly steep set of stairs, but once inside the restaurant, there is a nice atmosphere with lots of plants and long rows of tables. The location in Chinatown is also super convenient for those visiting the theater district, Tufts Medical, and other parts of the South End.

Total disaster - Edit
Found the restaurant from the street sign, it said it was a Vietnamese Asian cafe. We wanted to stop just for some tea as we were rushing to the train station. The staff rudely forced us to order something to eat as well so we chose two soups. It took them ages to prepare the food and it tasted very poorly. They basically served us warmed coconut milk with some canned veggies. The staff was unwelcoming, rude and the bill was too high for such a portion of sadness. In the end, we felt like idiots for stopping by. The food of others looked nice, however, I cannot recommend this place.

The most expansive & accessible (all-)vegan place in Boston, super wide menu, & lunch specials are very worth it. Tamarind duck was AMAZING, well-sauced & good sides. Duck was crispy, flavorful, & filling

Just not good. - Edit
The lo mein tasted like regular lo mein, which is nice since that's hard to find without egg noodles. That being said, it was super greasy and hurt my tummy, the tofu that came with it was flavorless, and the onions in it were almost raw. The garlic string beans with tofu was likewise completely flavorless and undercooked. The miso soup was almost ok, but too sweet and the seaweed was too chewy. Just generally the food is not good. I get much better food ordering veggie dishes from regular Chinese places (without oyster sauce). I tried this place cause I liked that it was all vegan, but it's not worth it.

I love this place. I've gone a few times since 2017. On my most recent visit, the food came quick, and the pad thai was delicious. The lunch specials are so worth it: $13.50 for a solid portion plus two dumplings and soup.
