Huge menu to choose from

We had the pineapple rice with shrimp and chikn, the Tom yum soup, spring rolls and the penang burry with beef. We found the pineapple rice a little bland but everything else was delicious!

Not enough spice

We got some fresh rolls, a Vietnamese coffee and the red curry with mock duck. The curry had 3 chilis next to it, but it wasn’t spicy at all. The fresh rolls were ok, but the sauce was too sweet. The vietnamese coffee came with coconut milk but the coffee cup was so full you couldn’t really add it to the cup. A bit disappointing, but it’s nice to have an option downtown.

Best in Boston

It’s a shame I only found this place a week before I moved. Wish I could take this place with me

Loved the golden triangles.

The golden triangles were amazing. Out entrees were just ok. Might go back for starters and try some other items.

Panoramic view!

Decent food served quickly, looking good and tasting good. Friendly staff. I most enjoyed the second storey panoramic neighborhood views on this early fall afternoon with the windows open and the restaurant’s many plants swaying.

Delicious vegan food

Fully vegan Thai restaurant with an extensive menu. Food was so so good-I got a tofu curry and bubble tea. I went with a couple of friends who were very hesitant about the prospect of no meat (ie: complaining the entire way there because how could a meal possibly taste good without meat?) but by the end of the meal they were raving about how good it was and even came back themselves a couple of days later (that’s how good it was). Staff really friendly, lovely little restaurant.

Tons of options

I only got a Thai tea, which was the best one I've ever had and the tow-hop tod #6 appetizer which was pretty good itself but I will definitely stop in again if I'm in the area.

Best Thai/East Asian food ever

I went back in 2021, it was just as amazing as it always was. Affordable and high quality vegan food, and everything is fresh. The boba is great too. Probably my favorite restaurant I have ever been to, highly recommend.

Great Vegan spot in Chinatown

We tried the hot and sour soup and a few of the appetizers. Our favorite was the leek pancake appetizer.

Lunch special was great

I got the mango curry lunch special with tofu which came with soup and two dumplings (or you could choose to have one spring roll), and I also got a Thai tea boba to go. The service was very fast and friendly and everything tasted great. I would love to come back to try their vegan chicken, beef, and shrimp options when I’m in town again. 10/10!

Great options and good flavors

This was a fun restaurant. I definitely enjoyed my meal. The food is creative and tasty. The seitan and tofu and tempeh are used masterfully. The flavors were good if this was not so close to Chinatown I’d say great but it’s really a nice option to have for good Chinese and Thai food.

The birds nest was so tasty and the dumplings were delicious. The lo mein was average and the miso soup was good. Definitely try the birds nest for the edible bowl it’s served in! Very unique and very tasty.

Pros: Birds nest, Dumplings, Miso soup

Authentic Flavours

Food was amazing with obviously freshly made noodles and flavorful sauces. All menu items were vegan, but if you bring people who aren't vegan here, they will still love the food!

Pros: Affordable lunch options, Good portion sizing

Cons: No accessible entrance

Belly Full from their Vegan Menu!!!

Amazing restaurant!!! I love the apps and the main course meals (pad ke mao and the garlic tofu). If I lived any closer I would be back at this place on a weekly basis. Also they serve vegan bubble tea, which was truly amazing. I highly recommend for vegans/plant-based food lovers to come by and have a meal at this place!!!

Pros: Amazing apps, Amazing main course, Quick service experience

Great Restaurant

The Rad Nar is incredible! We went and ordered about 8 items from the menu. The mango curry half chicken was also a favorite. There are so many options, so there's definitely something for everyone.

Pros: Options, Delicious food, Atmosphere

Cons: Lots of smokers outside

So much variety

The menu is so extensive that it is actually overwhelming. There are many different types of noodles, sauces, faux meats... Really difficult to make a decision! I ordered the curry vermicelli plus and it was a great choice. The noodles were thin but not too thin, and the sauce was amazing! Creamy, rich, and very flavorful. All the "plus" dishes have a combination of different meats, which was perfect because I wanted to try as many as I could. They were all really good, but the highlight for me was the shrimp. It was probably the first time I ever had vegan shrimp and it was delicious! The taste and the consistency were quite impressive. The portion was big so I was completely satisfied, and the price was fair. So I'd definitely recommend a visit, just be aware that the restaurant is not the prettiest, as other reviews have already described.

Huge menu with lots of great flavors

I've been here several times now, and I will keep coming back. The menu is huge, which actually makes it hard to decide (especially when I'm used to choosing from just a few vegan options). I recently tried the mango curry, and it was fantastic. The meal came with a small cup of sweet and sour soup, which had tofu, tomatoes, and mushrooms. The curry also had tofu, so I felt like I got a lot of the same textures, but the curry flavors were really nice. In my party of four, we each got a nice big lunch for under $100 total. Next time I want to try the vegan boba teas, since so many other places have dairy in the boba powder mixes. The one negative I can think of about this place is the entrance to the restaurant requires you to walk through a dirty and fairly steep set of stairs, but once inside the restaurant, there is a nice atmosphere with lots of plants and long rows of tables. The location in Chinatown is also super convenient for those visiting the theater district, Tufts Medical, and other parts of the South End.

Pros: Huge menu with great flavors, Convenient location, Moderate price

Cons: Entrance stairwell is sketchy

the first visit i went for the 'shrimp' tom yum soup and lemongrass 'chicken', and the next night the rad nar noodle dish. both were great, and the portion sizes were pretty big. i wanted to try more but knew i wouldnt be able to eat it all😄
