Satisfied But Pricey - Edit
I was sad to learn that NYC’s high end Buddist vegan Prix Fix restaurant Kajitsu had closed.
Read moreI saw that this new restaurant and had opened with a vegan option to their Korean fare, so I decided to give it a try.
Everything tasted very good and the tofu stew as very striking, but I wouldn’t put it on the same level as Kajitsu and a meal here will run you an extra 80 on top of what Kajitsu cost.
Overall I liked what I had, but at the price point I doubt I’d return.
You can get a meal of this quality at dirt candy for half the price or you can go proper big and lock something down at Eleven Madison Park.
Still I am glad these high end chefs are experimenting more with plant based cuisine and this is a pretty okay choice if you’d like.
Pros: Full Vegan Option Prix fix 8 course meal.
Cons: 200 dollars is a bit much.
