Best Bagels - Edit
Their vegan menu is literally the same size as their normal menu! They can make absolutely everything vegan! The portion sizes are great, you really get your money's worth as they're not shy to pack out your hoagie/bagel. Absolutely delicious, I'd highly recommend. They had vegan donuts I never got round to trying, so I'll have to give them a go next time:)

You definitely get your monies worth here! Was a bit gutted as they’d sold out of the vegan salt beef when I got there. However I still had a big tasty sandwich and lovely pickles on the side. Good selection of fizzy juice and some vegan muffins too.

Fantastic Veganised Sandwiches - Edit
NY Deli is a Cardiff institution and they've embraced vegan options by making their own fake meats in-house and creating an extensive vegan menu. They have hot and cold New York style sandwiches and bagels, plus hot dogs and crisps - the sandwiches themselves are pretty massive yet I've never not managed to finish one. They're just great really.

Most (if not all) of the sandwiches they offer can be made vegan. The portions are huge and always tasty.

Fantastic sandwiches, bagels and hoagies. Loads of vegan options and constantly expanding their vegan offerings. Great value for money too the sandwiches are huge and the staff are always really nice and helpful. Great spot to go for lunch and a Cardiff classic!

This place has been in Cardiff forever bit have recently put a big focus on adding lots of new options including; Vegan New York with loads of pastrami and a vegan BLT. One of the few places left in the city centre that isn't a chain as well.

The vegan hoagie is amazing and huge! Such good value! It comes with spiced vegan mince and vegan cheese. Really delicious. They also have vegan cream cheese bagels, and the beetroot bagel burger is really good too. Also love all the snapple iced tea options.

We ordered a HUGE vegan sub roll (vegan mince, beans, spicy sauce and vegan cheese). It was so good and you get so much. We also ordered a began bagel with vegan cream cheese, pickles, chillies etc. It was all really good!

After hearing much about this place and the weather being a bit drizzling we opted to check this place out. It is situated in High Street Arcade. They have a menu right outside which labels 5 options suitable for vegans. There is a huge bench right outside that could seat about 10 people. Inside there is space for about 15 people on the lower floor and 10 on the top floor.
Read moreThe staff were friendly and assured me that they handel the vegan food with care making sure they wash their hands well and keep the vegan food separate. We opted to order the Vegan Grinder and a carrot cake. The grinder was huge and enough to fill the both of us. It is quite affordable though I would not say that it is anything to rave about. The carrot cake was not very sweet it was the icing that I enjoyed. I however credit them for offering vegan options and will consider trying the other items on the menu.
The place is very meaty, guests' sandwiches that are almost filled with a whole pig, cow, eggs etc.
They make use of alot of packaging, plastic straws, cutlery, foil, paper plates which I find is not environmentally friendly. Even when sitting in you're served with disposable ware. So next time I'll have my containers handy to be served in.
