So-so

Nice place with friendly staff, yet food available is mostly fried and the limited options for more fresh meal - Buddha bowl - did not taste well.

Pros: Nice environment, pleasant staff

Cons: buffet food, food offering mostly fried and heavy

Delicious food after long day

Restaurant with healthy vegan food options in Asian style. All fresh and the bowl I had was really delicious. Wide selection of sweets.

Pros: Delicious food, Choice, Location

I really enjoyed my meal here.

This is a very conveniently located restaurant, near the old city square. Just a couple of blocks from The Grand Hotel. There is a menu on the wall over the hot bar, but most of the food is served cafeteria style, out of warming trays. I got the lasagna, which came with a mixed green and vegetable salad. I also got the crispy sushi roll. The lasagna and the sushi were very good. I also got a couple of jalapeño poppers. They were good, but if there was any spice to them, I didn’t notice (welcome to Scandinavia). I got a big slab of carrot cake. The cake portion of the carrot cake was excellent. The icing, sadly, was the typical bland and largely flavorless white icing that vegan places often put on carrot cake. Note to everyone: Carrot cake is frosted with CREAM CHEESE icing. The cake was 9/10. The icing was 4/10. I digress.😄

Nice Restaurant, food lacks flavor

The restaurant is very well located and quiet Cosy. Everything looks really tasty and appealing, unfortunately the chicken and mushroom curry I had, was not so tasty and lacked seasoning. The chocolate cake on the other hand was quiet good.

Pros: Very friendly staff, Good variety of drinks and food, Tasty cake

Cons: Food lacks seasoning

Brilliant Cafe

If you are in Oslo City Centre, it is highly recommended to come here. The food is very healthy and very tasty. The cafe is a really clean place centrally located in the city centre. I have come back again before I fly back to the UK as it was so delicious and reasonably priced. 100% recommended 👌

Delicious and great service

Amazing vegan food, lots of options and really quick service - the staff make the food right in front of you and they’re constantly restocking so you know it’s fresh. It’s pretty expensive - 210 NOK (about £15) for a bowl of noodles, but that’s unavoidable in Oslo. Worth a visit!

Excellent food and ambiance!

We shared two starters (dumpling and jalapeño poppers) and the indian curry and we both loves everything! We would highly recommend!

Pros: Food, Ambiance

Cons: Pricey

Delicious and healthy dishes

What I later realized to be common at restaurants in Oslo was a buffet-like display of food, but the dishes are singular menu items vs. being able to add a little of everything to your plate. I opted for a salad-bowl type dish, full of fresh delicious veggies (which was much needed after a long flight.) However, they also had plenty of heartier dishes if you needed something with a bit more weigh to it.

All food is ordered at the counter and the employees were very helpful guiding my partner and I (and easily accommodated our english only language skills.) The space on the inside was a bit on the small side, but they had a lovely patio in the back that's perfect in the beautiful summer season of Oslo.

Definitely a necessary stop for vegans traveling through.

Pros: Good variety, Outdoor seating

Solid food option

After having been a few times in Oslo, I can say this is my favorite one.
Last time I tried the sushi and it was fantastic.
Definitely worth stopping by!

----------
The menu is rather diverse.
Dishes are pre-cooked and you can compose your own plate by choosing from what's available.
For instance, lasagna, fritters, tempura, rice noodles, salads, and toppings like tofu, kimchi, edamame, etc.
They also have predefined sets available if you prefer it.

There are a few desserts as well. We had the apple pie and the peanut butter/chocolate mousse.

Everything we had was yummy, we particularly liked the deep-fried roll, the lasagna and the apple pie.

Don't miss it if you are in Oslo!

Incredibly overpriced, but good

Being from NYC it’s hard for me to feel a restaurant is overpriced, but I left feeling this way after Nord. Don’t get me wrong, the food is good, I went twice while I was in Oslo for the Shepard’s pie; to die for.
But if you are on a budget, there are better options in the city

Leaves much to be desired

For the portion it was quite expensive and the taste was quite average. Does not deserve to be Oslo’s top vegan restaurant.

Canteen vibe

Nothing special but not bad either. When we came for dinner they were sadly already out of almost all of the appetizers, which was a bit sad. The fried oyster mushrooms however were really tasty!

Nordvegan

It was fine, but not a place I need to visit again. My partner was put off by the buffet-style (not a self-serve buffet, the employees do it). We got chocolate cake later too and it was also OK. The staff members treated us strangely, so I can’t say I even feel welcomed to go back anyway.

Was okay.

Not very good, not very Bad. It was okayish. I didn't liked the canteen style and how you get your food. The fried Oystermushrooms and the Jalapeno Balls we're cold.

And why do you ask for a Tip If you have to get the Food, and bring it to the table yourselfe?

All in all it was nothing Special.

Pros: Tasted Okay.

Cons: Canteen Feeling, Food was not warm, Pretty expecive.

Boring and difficult buffet-style

The food was okay, but not amazing. The buffet-style was chaotic as there is no room for a line to order and once you ordered the starters you have to get back in line for mains, either abandoning the table of leaving your fellow guests at the table to stand in line for another 20 minutes. Weird formula and did not live up to the expectations as "best vegan spot of Oslo".

Pros: Fried mushrooms were very tasty, Portions are decent sized

Cons: Buffet-style is just inconvenient, Most food was basic

Pros: Totalmente vegano, Ambiente agradável, Comida saborosa
