Friendly people, tasty food

Located at the end of the food street. Seems to be family-run. The kids speak English.

Pros: Vegan eatery, Inexpensive

Vegan local!

This restaurant is visited by locals who are either vegan, vegetarian or taken up temporary vegetarianism for Buddhist faith. The owner is super friendly and will attempt to speak English with you. The food is also incredibly cheap. 2 meals for $2!!

Pros: All vegan

Disapointing

We came here because it had very good reviews but we didn't like it much. Spring rolls had been fried ages ago abd food was cold.

Pros: All vegan and cheap

Cons: Bad quality

Best veg restaurant in the city

We tried a few restaurants, but this was our favourite. They have pre made dishes, but also menu in English and you can order from the menu, mainly noodles. Staff speaks English. I recommend green beans for a drink. Noodles were very tasty (especially vietnamise) Curry is also very good.

Pros: Good noodles

Cons: Not much other options

Best after 2 weeks in Vietnam.

This little spot is by the lake in Can Tho, at the end of food street. We had the first item on the menu, which is only served for dinner. It was phenomenal. The best thing I’ve eaten in two weeks, which is saying something, because I’m really enjoying the food in Vietnam. The staff also speak a bit of English and are very kind and helpful. But the food really shines here. We didn’t have any of the pre-prepares dishes. Just ordered from the menu. Give this place a try, especially for dinner and get the spring rolls you roll yourself. I’ll post a photo, so you can see what they are.

Pros: All vegan according to menu, Friendly staff. , Good location

Cons: None.

Fresh tasty food Great value

Lovely fresh and tasty food. We had lots of dishes for a family of 4 (2 kids) for just over 100k! Didn’t give it 5 star purely as the curry was a little oily (but tasty). Our fussy 4 yr old even ate well!!! That’s saying something:)

Pros: Vegetarian only, Traditional Vietnamese dishes in veg, English menu and friendly staff

Cons: Curry was a little oily

Fresh and tasty

I had three meals there. The noodle dishes I tried (Bun Cha Gio and Bun Rieu) were tasty and I was impressed with how fresh the ingredients were, especially the bits of mock meat, which tend to be old and chewy in most cheap vegetarian restaurants. I wasn't so impressed with the standard dish of rice with assorted mock meat and veggies. The portion wasn't very big, the food was bland, and they use low quality rice (broken rice). I think the noodle dishes are a much better option, as is often the case IMHO. Not much English spoken, if any. It's a clean and comfortable place. There are signs on the walls with names of dishes, but no printed menu (they told me they were working on it, though). Outside seating possible.

Pros: Clean, Tasty, Fresh

Cons: Rice-based dishes are so-so
