Nourishing vegan organic food

Nice place, with a large vegan buffet with lots of nourishing, healthy options. Maybe a bit expensive, but the quality is outstanding. Don't miss the hummus!

Pros: food quality, service

2nd Review...

After my first review we went back two times (and will go back again). Warning...the buffet is super expensive! 26 Euros per kilogram! We got a small portion each, and the total was $15. Not nearly enough food to fill us up for dinner unfortunately. The dinner/buffet food was probably great when it was hot and fresh, but it wasn't super good when it was cold. Decent. But not great. We went back again for lunch and has the paninis and sandwiches again and they were amazing and much cheaper than the buffet. Our advice: get there early before the good stuff runs out and skip the buffet part.

Delicious food and great staff

We were delighted to find this place and returned 3 times during our trip. It has delicious croissants and beverages and the vegan aperitivo menu was a wonderful treat on our last evening. We also had a bottle of a vegan sparkling wine from Northern Italy. Our waiter was lovely and gave us some extra free aperitivo, thank you. Thanks for providing a great service and offering reasonably priced and good quality organic and vegan food in Rome. You are amazing :-)

Tasty varied food!

We had several foods for lunch and they were all very tasty! I asked for a salad and they put it on another plate since the rest of the food was going to be heated. The price depended on the weight of the food and I think they were considering with the plate weight too. Since they put the salad aside in another plate only for that it was maybe around 4 euros :/ Apart from that amazing food and not that expensive considering it is Rome xD

Great cafe with a view

Loved this place! We went twice - first for our morning coffee, croissants and muffins, where we sat outside in the winter sunshine facing Porta San Paolo, then again on the way home for a snack. Unfortunately, we missed the lunch buffet, which closed at 3.30pm, but that's an excuse to go again. Staff friendly, food delicious and very good value. Well recommended!

Pros: Nice location, Delicious food, Good value

Many options

Really not that expensive and with many options available. Since I arrived in Italy I have only eaten carbs, so I had the chance to eat some protein (rice&beans) there. Lovely!

Cons: They charged me twice for a bottle of water and I

delicious place!

I really loved this place because there were so many options which was a nice change for once! I really appreciate the amount of effort the chef takes to make the various salads, grains, veggies and pastas. The price is by weight so you can try everything, and everything was delicious. I also had a chocolate croissant, so delicious! I highly recommend this place.

great!

Ready-made paninis were terrific and good value. Went for breakfast and got a vegan croissant, panini and a coffee - all were great. Would be good if they made chocolate croissant (although they might, maybe they were all gone).

Pros: paninis

Cons: none

Healthy and clean vegan window shop

I really appreciated this simple and clean cafe, serving buffet organic food by weight.
Price is a bit high, but quality also in my view.
Would really recommend it, especially if traveling for long and looking for some healthy food

All Vegan, All the Time!!

I've passed through this one and didn't go because Happy Cow told it was a meat-serving place... but it's wrong!
It's an all-Vegan place with a macrobiotic feel into it. It's weighted-buffet with really nice natural juices. The food selection was really good and all tasted natural and grounded.
What's the top in this place?! The desserts! Best pies I've eaten in my life. Lots of selection, really wonderful flavors and all natural.
And above all, the people who work there. In all places in Roma this was the one where I was really well attended. 5 Stars!

Roman treat

We were really pleased to stumble across Bioscafe by accident one night in Rome. The food is excellent and served using the simple concept of filling your plate at a buffet and weighing it before you sit down. It seemed all vegan to us and was very tasty, good value (about £28 for two of us to have a filling plate, a beer and desert). We went back for a second visit before our return to the UK and will certainly go back when next in Rome.
It's not often you find simple vegetarian food cooked so well.

Pros: Taste, Value, Good service & quiet

Cons: A short evening walk from the centre of Rome, It's not in Bristol!, We didn't think of this idea first
