we tried the lox bagel and the breakfast croissant sandwich. i was searching nyc for a vegan lox bagel and this one with marinated carrot satisfied my craving. they have just about every vegan goodie here, with a crazy upcharge of course. makes sense tho bc this is a very carefully curated collection of goods. would def go again to try more sandwiches

I really like the flavoursome fillings, but the bread was really dry. I ordered a delivery for dinner on a Sunday evening, so maybe that's why. The chocolate chip cookie was perfect - one of the best I've ever had! Would like to try the food again when it's fresh.

i’ve been following orchard grocer on instagram for years. unfortunately i live 2 hours away so it’s taken me a while to get here. i knew even from their posts that their sandwiches were 🔥 and they did not disappoint. we got the miles & the romey and loved both. they had so much flavor! we also got cookie dough soft serve after, and honestly, that was disappointing. it was an icy consistency more so like sorbet than soft serve ice cream. the store itself was cute and i was able to get some grocery items i haven’t seen anywhere else. i wish i didn’t live so far away.

I go to Orchard Grocer whenever I visit this big city. When I visit, I'm always satisfied by their sandwiches, and I thoroughly savored their soft serve ice cream the last time I tried it. There's also a vegan goods store next door that's worth going to, as well!

My company ordered Katz's deli as the food for the annual winter party much to the distress of the handful of us vegans there and so we countered with a request to order some vegan food- my colleague suggested Orchard Grocer and I was excited to finally try it! We ordered The 3-Foot Monty Sandwich and the Cobb Salad, both were just outstanding! The sandwich was so satisfying and delicious we didn't feel like we were 'missing out' one bit (not that we would!) The Cobb was a huge hit, our vegetarian colleague isn't down with mock meat but she was all into the Cobb and I couldn't agree more, it could be the star of its own show it's so damn good, the blue cheese, the mushroom bacon, the tofu fried chickn and egg salad... I'll definitely be ordering again for myself.
Read more1/25/24--Tonight went to a Vegan NYC meetup and Orchard Grocer was on site for us to order food, tried the jalapeno poppers and they were so yummy with Numu cheese. Also got a Nutella Cream Cheese doughnut to take home and that was delicious too! 5 more stars for Orchard Grocer!

i consumed it in 5 minutes in my dark cold car and felt the ghost of despair in its absence after it was all over. i didnt think a sandwich with fried tofu could be that good. they also had a lot of interesting specialty vegan goods on their shelves that i had never seen before. definitely will go here if i am ever in brooklyn again
