A must-visit! - Edit
This restaurant is a smaller sister restaurant to the Padmanadi in downtown Edmonton, but the food, ambiance, and service is just as good! The curry chicken is a must - the curry sauce is so flavorful and the texture of the vegan "chicken" is just amazing. The dishes are very generous and filling too, for a reasonable price. I love that you can get the individual-sized portions, which come with rice and 2 spring rolls, even at dinnertime at this location (whereas in the downtown location this would only be available at lunchtime) - this is great when you're dining solo as a regular-sized portion is HUGE and can easily serve 2-3 people. The service at Padmanadi is always welcoming and attentive yet efficient. Nice, bright atmosphere. Spacious free parking lot. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be coming back.

Comprehensive Fusion Menu - Edit
On par with many restaurants, one would find in and around New York City (or any other Vegan "mecca.")
Read moreI was impressed with the service, the eclectic menu, atmosphere, and reasonable prices. And, I admit to being pleasantly surprised to find this establishment, along with many others listed here on HC in this city within the Province of Alberta, Canada, which is also known as "The Texas of the North!"
Pros: Eclectic Asian Fusian Menu, Excellent Service, Lovely, Relaxing Atmosphere

I have never had a bad meal here. My very carnivorous brother enjoyed their food enough that he plans to travel back to Edmonton to eat here again… and maybe visit me.

The food was amazing and they had Singapore Noodles! I haven’t had that since I went vegan! I was so excited to see it on the menu and all the food was delicious. Also highly accessible for guests with mobility issues! Also Best Cheesecake!!! Super smooth and creamy!

Amazing Vegan Cuisine - Edit
The entire menu was vegan. They even had vegan shrimp! The server asked about allergies immediately, which was nice. There were so many options it was hard to choose! The soy chicken was amazing, and I greatly recommend the sweet and sour chicken. The chai latte was also very good quality. The staff were very polite too. The food was also not very expensive, even when eating a large quantity of good quality food. Great restaurant, affordable, would greatly recommend.

Delicious vegan food - Edit
Hands down, top vegan place to eat in Edmonton. Great atmosphere, food, friendly staff. I also think it's a good place for people who are either new to becoming vegetarian/vegan or starting. Most people seem to love the curry chicken dish. My personal favorites are too many lol! But I can say the spicy eggplant, lemon grass vermicelli, and satay peanut skewers are amazing!

One of the best restaurants in Western Canada - Edit
It’s my go to restaurant whenever I’m in Edmonton. I have been going here for over 10 years and am never disappointed. Thankfully they opened a second location so the main one isn’t always crazy busy. The food is exceptional and is a Thai/Indonesian style.
Read moreThe must haves are the soups, Roti Canai appetizers, General Tao and Nasi Goreng rice. The main restaurant downtown is spacious, great decor and exceptional food. The only negative is that it is super loud when full but this is not the restaurant’s fault! It is a testament to how popular this place is within a area known for its “Alberta beef”
Pros: Amazing selection of vegan dishes, Awesome soups, Good space
Cons: It is not cheap!, Make a reservation or you may not get seated

You HAVE to visit this place! It serves authentic and extremely delicious indonedian-style food. The portions sizes are HUGE for up to 3 people to share. If you don’t have a peanut allergy you have To try the chicken in peanut sauce. It was our fave!
