Read moreThey have many vegan options to choose from. Vegan ones are written in green and labelled as post. They also have ingredients and allergens listed.
The pastries are all very big, soft and lovely. They sell pies by the slice as well. I think my favourite pastry was the one with cocoa filling, which tasted like nutella.
This place is always busy as the locals seem to love it too. It opens early and closes late. They also sell coffee and accept credit cards.

Got confused about the name, love it - Edit
Got confused about the name, it's Patisseria Amzei. Maybe it changed? But whatever, Amzei is amazing. Bought cherry and mushroom pastries. Only 7 lei/each and they had other options too. People queuing were locals and it really is a hole-in-the-wall local bakery. No seating (in November). The vegan pastries are labelled as "de post" for Orthodox lent.

Simple but nice - Edit
A simple-looking bakery that has existed since 1985 and is very popular among locals for their very low prices. They sell typical romanian bakery items and they have a good selection of 'de post' vegan items. Bear in mind that it's typical romanian so a lot of it is very dry. However, a must try to emerge yourself in the culture!
