From raw pizza to curries - Edit
Wide selection of vegan foods. The raw pizza was good, and the Malaysian curry super yummy. One of the best vegan Tiramisu I've had, and it's huge. Cozy ambiance, go for date night!

Excellent place with lots of vegan choices. I had the delicious oyster mushroom dish and the chickpea fingers, which were incredible with a fantastic sauce! A little chocolate cake went down well too 😊

Get the dumplings - Edit
Their dumplings are the best I've ever had! Not the typical cabbage heavy vegan dumpling, but packed with a vegan meat ball that is very similar in texture and flavor to a traditional meat dumpling and the dipping sauce was also spot on. The chickpea fries were great, similar to a falafel. I had a piece of pumpkin quiche that was a little bland. The red velvet cake was not too sweet and really well done, though heavy on the icing.

Excellent quality - Edit
I love peace food cafe. I don’t think I’ve ever been dissatisfied, they deliver excellent quality every time. Gotta admit though, the prices are like $2 over from what I’d expect. Maybe it’s just location but if it was a little cheaper I’d be there a lot more.

Delicious restaurant - Edit
This location is definitely better than the uptown one. A little overpriced; skip the regular items and focus on the specials (though the fried “chicken” is BOMB) Their baked items are also good, but huge. Servings are large overall; would have been satisfied with just the entree.

The pfc unckicken basket is exceptional - Edit
There isn’t a doubt in my mind you could serve those unchicken tenders to anyone and they wouldn’t have a clue they aren’t chicken. The breading is nice a crispy and the “meat” is juicy and crisp. The dumplings were no slouches either. They were pan fried just right so the bottoms were crispy and the tops still a bit soft. The soy sauce was a bit sweet.

Consistent - Edit
You’ll never have a bad meal here, period. You often have to wait for a table, but I think that only speaks to how popular the place is. The “specials” menu never seems to change, and because I eat there often I’d prefer to see some new things occasionally.

Salads not my thing, but they are pretty good at Peacefood.

Very tasty vegan brunch - Edit
I had a lovely pumpkin quiche with a side salad and an excellent americano. Portions a little small for the price. They have a really delicious looking nut cheese platter which I didn’t get to try, and a huge selection of baked goods. Will definitely be back next time I am in NYC.

Best tiramisu ever - Edit
I loved this place, I had such a hard time deciding what to get, there is so much choice! The location is close to Union Square and the space is big and light! I had the tiramisu after my sandwich and they brought out a GIANT slice! It was excellent but couldn’t finish (and normally I would always finish dessert) so asked them to have the rest to go! I would definitely go back!

Good food - Edit
Nice place, a bit noisy as people seemed to be shouting at each other. The menu changes every week. Difficult to choose as everything was very tempting, you can find fast food and real food. they portions are not too big, though. Dangerous cakes. On my second time there I ordered the Vegan pot and it was not as good, it was a different dish and had nothing to do with the lovely dish I remembered.

I love both locations, but this is definitely my favorite. The spacious, airy atmosphere, the beautiful art. The servers are friendly and knowledgeable. And of course the food is delicious. You can also grab and go for pastries and smoothies. Go here!

Not a great experience - Edit
After reading the positive reviews we gave it a try. Ordered two mains (a salad and roast veg trio) with a side of chickpea fries. Chickpea fries were great but arrived about 30 minutes before everything else. Our server didn’t come back so flagged someone down to inquire about the rest of the order. Mains arrived and the veg trio was cold and not great at all - brown rice, slab of pumpkin, brussels and Chinese egglant, no dressing. The salad was ok but honestly you can do much better for less $ going to sweet green round the corner.

Amazing - Edit
I’ve been going to PeaceFood for years now and it never disappoints. The menu is large, but not overwhelming, so everyone can find something they like. I’ve taken so many non-veg friends here and it’s become one of their favorite spots, as well. Favorites include: chickpea fries, raw lasagna, cheeseburger, chicken parm, and the tiramisu is mind blowing.

Trying something new - Edit
So this restaurant is a little ways away from one of the job work sites that I work from. I got a Brazilian Chai that was super spicy I am trying to drink it now but it's a bit difficult. The pumpkin sandwich was delicious with the side of jicama and carrot salad. I also got a strawberry cheesecake but i didn't like it really. The restaurant was nice inside. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Read morePros: Lots of choices to choose from, Dining experience, Friendly staff
Cons: Over spiced(cinnamon) brazilian chai latte, Prices could be a bit better, Description of dishes could be more precise
